Cool Game! It can be a very potential full game in future!

Simple relaxing game. Could use some effect when the basil goes into the basket. Well done.

Really cool to turn the concept into a real tree, nice ^^

This was interesting. Quite meditative actually - the idea of harvesting basil was quite relaxing! I wonder could a future version have the cuts actually happen exactly where you click. Lots of potential for gameplay relating to pests or weeds too! Good luck for the jam!

It was so fun to toss the leaves around! and it does grow like basil actually does which I liked.

The game is quite fun once you learn how to move the leaves around but the first seconds are quite frustrating. Also, are the high scores online ?

Developer

Yes the high scores are online. Due to a glitch, you have to get higher than the lowest score to get on the leader board.

Neat game an wonderful use of treess! Your programming was great! I almost see this as a great way to make some very cool geometric art! I felt incentivized in a way to try and make something really beautiful with the basil! I would play again and again even just for that! eading the other comments I know you said the throwing mechanic isn't exactly what you wanted, but if it's any consolation I thought that the physics of it felt so whimsical and was a really fun element to interact with as well! Overlal great job! I really enjoyed myself both as playing the game and in wyas I didn't even expect as well!

It's not very clear how you can interact with the cut leaves. My leaves were jumping all around :D

I tried to implement a "throwing with the mouse" mechanic last minute, but it doesn't work very well :(

Something indicating that you can cut the branches by clicking them would help. Was halfway in before I realised that. However after that, being able to flood the screen with leaves with physics was absolutely hilarious. Good work
