You and I used almost the same art asset pack! You used 0x72's 16x16 Dungeon Tileset, and for my game, I used the updated version (0x72's 16x16 Dungeon Tileset II). Small world. :-)

Anyway, nice little endless runner-style game! Great job, especially for your first game jam. :-)

Developer

Which program(s) did you use with the tiles? I just akwardly cut them out with a photoeditor.

I did it all in Godot! The level it's built using Tilemap nodes, which can place lots of tiles repeatedly, and the rest is using Sprite nodes, which let you set a region to use, and HFrames for the different animation frames. There's actually only one PNG for all the art in my game. :-) If you want to check it out, you can grab the full code off GitLab

Cute, simple and fun. The second protagonist being Martin Luther was interesting :P

Glad you enjoyed it!

That was actually my first idea, didn't even think about other meanings of revolution but religious. No idea why, just popped into my head, and i wanted to try building an endless runner as a first game, because there were no tutorials i could plagiarize xD, so i had to really struggle my way through godot.

A nice, simple game that works.  The knight's sprite is funny.

Laughing- funny or not-working-funny?

Nice to hear you enjoyed it!

In the Retry screen the text sticks out of the panel.

Nice game would have liked a little more variety.

Congratulations on the completion of your first game jam!

Developer

Thank you! Indeed the Retry text was sticking out, used the wrong margins there.

Updated all Downloads, should now work after extracting. Thanks!

Developer

Should work now, thanks!

Hey, I'm unable to run the game on Windows because you forgot to include the .pck file in your download.

Developer

Hopefully fixed it, thanks!
