Lovely graphics, and a cool concept. Unfortunately, I just couldn't quite get it down.

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, it's a bit hard at first. Not even us could get through some of the levels at first, and we designed them!

Wow, super creative concept! But really, really challenging. I only managed to make it to the 2nd stage. It's interesting, because with this kind of non-traditional control scheme, you would expect it to be a puzzle game, but it isn't (as evidenced by the non-deterministic movement of the enemies in the 2nd stage), it's a platformer! It obviously makes me think of VVVVVVV.

Developer

Thank you! Our level-designer really likes hard games :D

You're right, the control scheme would fit a puzzle  game. I think we stumbled into this idea because we are new to godot, so we started out with the typical platformer. Then we added rotating because of the theme and liked it so much we removed all other kinds of movement.

I had quite a bit of difficulty getting this one nailed down :) Lovely game and a really cool take on the theme. Definitely 5/5 creativity!

Developer(+1)

Thank you so much! I have to say the theme didn't come to us until we were playing around with prototypes, but we are quite happy with how it turned out. Glad you liked it ;)

Innovative control, kinda counter-intuitive for my hand. I cannot get past stage 5 onwards! Maybe just too much stuff on the stage. Im a fan of this kind of art.

Developer

Thank you so much for playing the game!

Yeah, that 5th level might be just a bit too overloaded... We will try to make things clearer in the future! Thanks again :)

Realy good art and music.

I like how you've handled the theme.

Developer

Thank you so much for your kind words! Hope you enjoyed the game :)

Rebolutionary spinning robot technology!

Very interesting mechanic of one button movement, very quirky enemies and lovely art!

Since you have the mechanic and the world all done, I would be interested in seeing

"Rebolution+: the spikes and lazers edition"  where you use the same gravity mechanic to squash these pesky bug-animals. They still cruise around, but instead of avoiding them, you try to hunt them.

Well done!

Thanks a lot for your comment! We actually had a lot of mechanics in mind for the game but couldn't fit them in the game due to time issues... We will do better next game! Thanks again for your words :)

I know that feeling ... Jams are great! But they might create some type of pressure and that you have to produce a result, so in the end you forget how hard you've worked... Well done!
