Cute game! You taught me a little something about sprite/workload economy.
Some simple designs can really be enough to convey their message and look good.

nice little game. hitting a bar wasn't really a punished. maybe make us lose "coins" when hitting to give us a reason not to hit them. played and rated, feel free to try and rate my game:
there are obstacles that kill us in level 3 , 4 , 5 anyways thanks for the comment i will deffo try yours :)

The controls feel a bit heavy i.m.o, but other than and maybe the theme that isn't really implemented, it's solid, its simple yet insant fun, the graphics are super cute, and the level tune is quite catchy.
I'd say for a first jam ever it's good, just the missing theme.

Lovely game, the sound/music and art are good. But I would go with what @StormKMD said, there is no originality in the game. And for the theme I can't really catch it.
I think it's nice and cute, and I believe that's what the submitter was going for. If you look at this game as a "Family-friendly" game, I think it fits into the Theme in a way. It works, the controls are good, the music is simple and I enjoyed it.
I will say that there are many different kinds of games like this, so it's not exactly original. I also wish there were forward and back controls so I could collect all of the cards (or gems).

Absolutely, I understand :) keep going and making games! Something I like to do is not think about the time too much, it should be (in my opinion) fun and relaxing to make a game for a game jam. I usually write down several different ideas before starting on the art / programming.
