nice idea about generations.. but needs more tutorials to play

Developer

Thank you for testing the game! Yes definitely ^^', I'll remember it for next time.

I really like the idea of multiple generations of characters, great job. One minor issue, the fonts were super tiny on my 4k monitor.

Good game overall.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! And noted for the font scale.

nice game concept. I played once but never got any quests for 4-5 seasons in a row. also played 2 other games where it looked like I reached the end of a turn but never got any further. nevertheless it looks like it could become something nice. writing down the controls or a little tutorial on your gamepage could help a lot, and you can still do this even when you can't change a game for a gamejam.

played and rated, feel free to play and rate my game.

Thank you very much for playing (and multiple times)!

Yes the game is very buggy (especially in the web export it seems?...), combat especially.

I didn't really think of how bad rng luck for quests (and the rest) could be frustrating , it might be a good idea to skew it in the player after successive failures. I also think I should have make an in-game tutorial and tool-tip to help players.

I like the look of the game. But I didn't get very far, on mission after the first round of combat my options never returned and I could not progress.

Developer

Thanks for looking at the game!

Yes, I have the same bug on itch.io, but it doesn't seem to exist on my local project (export-introduced bug?).
Not that it really matters, because there is also another bug that makes everyone immortal, so the combat would have just ran indefinitely.

I'll probably fix them (and many more) in a post-jam version once I have time.

Hi! I tried to play your game, but something isn't right.

I press "play" button, progress bar is filling up and then there is black screen and nothing else.

I waited some time and still nothing. I tried Edge, Mozilla and Chrome and still the result was the same.

Chrome Version 84.0.4147.135 (Official version) (64-bit)
Firefox 80.0 (64-bit)

Would you like to rate our game and leave some great feedback?

Developer

Hi!

Mmmh... I have no idea why this isn't working... I had it running successfully on both firefox and chrome, in two different computers. I'll add downloadable desktop versions next time.

And don't worry, you aren't really missing much anyway. ^^'

Yes, I'll check your game! :)

Such an ambitious game ! The legacy system is a great idea. The game is a little rough on the edges, especially I think it lacks some explanations / tooltips.

I totally agree!

Thank you for your feedback!
Yes, I was way too ambitious, especially for an unfamiliar game engine. It's very buggy, and missing a tutorial, so a tooltip would have really helped understanding what's supposed to be done.
