Loved the art and atmosphere, and how you set the scene at the start with the text!
Thank you! I was wary of falling into the trap of a "wall of text" - it was a balancing act of wanting to set the scene vs leaving it up to interpretation. I'm glad you enjoyed it! <3
I like the art and audio work, well done for a first game jam ! The levels were very simple but I think you can increase the difficulty by adding other puzzles or game mechanics.
Yeah I could definitely make the level design more interesting in the future ^^ Thanks for playing!
I liked the presentation of this - very nicely done. When I started picking up ingredients I immediately thought I was going to find clues as to what would be required for the day's bread to make. But even though that didn't happen I still liked it. The atmosphere was very well achieved.
Nice entry!
Thanks for your feedback! <3
A well polished game, though I wish there was more to it. I feel like it could make a wonderful pseudo one screen puzzle game if the days had more complicated steps attached to getting the correct ingredients.
Some very valuable feedback, thank you! I agree that the progression felt very one-dimensional, it's something I aim to improve for next time. Thanks for playing! <3
I almost thought I was about to watch a movie with that lovely haunting music track opening the game while the Godot wild jam logo fading in like it owns the place. Very atmospheric game. Beautiful pixel art. The music was keeping me on my toe a little, but the actual game is actual quite light hearted.
By the way, I noticed that I tend to get the "go back to title screen" button from the ingredient screen confused with the "continue" button a lot . I would accidentally click it and end up at the title screen when I didn't mean to. Might just be a me problem though.
Overall a very lovely experience, thank you.
I definitely need to improve my UI design - would you have any suggestions as to what I could do to make it less confusing for you? Should I put the title screen button in a different place? Thank you for leaving such detailed feedback, I really appreciate it!
I think as long as it's not at the exact same spot as the continue button, it would help me with my impulse to click it without thinking. I think your UI is fine, the game looks and feels really nice. :)
Great game, it looks amazing, the SFX and the radio music are amazing as well. It's really short but still a very amazing job.
I'm really glad you liked the SFX - it was so much fun to do! Thanks for the feedback! <3
Very cool. The music and atmosphere are incredible. Simple interactions, but a fun world to move around in. It would be very cool to see more in this setting.
Thank you for taking the time to leave me some feedback!
Wow, the opening of this game was amazing, and overall it was very polished. Short, but fun and interesting.
Thank you so much for the feedback! <3
