This reminds me of those old magnetic games you'd get in a happy-meal. The sounds and the way that the bread moves really brings me back!

Great fun, I didn't do as well as others only getting 40 points, but I still enjoyed it a lot. This would make a fantastic mobile game in my opinion.

Nice work!

A simple game that I particularly liked. I replayed a lot to try to beat my best score and I ended up with 60 points.

Well done for your first jam !

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

Great for a first game jam! The mechanic was very simple, but I kept trying to beat my high-score (which means the game was fun and you did your job correctly!). The controls seemed a little weird at first, but that was actually part of the fun for me. The controls felt gradually more natural as you learned to play the game. And I am proud to show my score of 78:

As the others mention, I think the game is too unforgiving, as a single mistakes makes you start from the beginning. This actually wouldn’t be that much of a problem if the game was faster / accelerated faster: if the average length of a try is 15 seconds, it wouldn’t bother me to restart often. Here, if you make a single mistake you loose your minute(s) of hard work and have to start from the beginning (and it starts of slow), which is why the others suggested added a sort of “shield” to not let a small mistake make your run go to waste. And I think doing either (higher acceleration & faster game / lives & shield) wouldn’t take too much time!

A smoother fall (have the bread follow a continuous path instead of discrete time steps), and a music would also have been great additions, but it’s normal to not have time to make everything. :)

Great entry! And I hope to see you again for the next jams.

Nice high score! I'm glad you had fun with it!

Your notes about the slow speed and wasted time make a lot of sense... that's something I wish I could have addressed, but I felt lucky to just get something built and submitted that worked. :)

I hope I'll be able to continue in future jams and work to make better and better games.

It is a very neat idea for a first game! The controls setup reminds me of a pinball machine. I agree with others that music would be nice as well as being allow to make one or two mistake while we get use to the controls!

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. Very good points.

Nice little game, i made a score of 44. the art is simple but nice, the sfx are nice too. I would add some music and maybe some powerups like a star that gives 10 points or a shield that lets you make one mistake without dying.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.

Those are good ideas for powerups. I had some similar ideas that might have been cheat codes or just part of the game, but of course didn't end up with time to put them.

Nice idea!

The controls where a bit hard to get into but know that I think of they totally make sense!

I think it would be nice to add music and maybe multiple lifes or a possibility to correct an error so that game is not over as soon as us miss the first switch once.

Congratulations on the entry!

Thanks! I'm glad that the controls made sense over time. I know it's not a completely natural way to be approaching things.

Music was in the plans, and about half written, but then I ran out of time with some technical issues. But I'm happy to have something submitted. :)
