Very challenging, excellent mood :)
Would be nice to have more info about the controls and maybe a hint about the berries. Didnt know about them until the 3rd game

Love the atmosphere that the music brings to the game!

However, I found the movement to be too slow for my taste, particularly with the way that the enemies spawn their attacks right under the character, I couldn't help but accept that enemies dealing damage was unavoidable.

I got three parts. Eventually a bad guy followed me right to my ship and killed me while I was inside getting oxygen.

I like the music and atmosphere, and the enemy attack effects are cool!

I did find this game to be hard in a way that did not make me want to try again. I found the baddies were very difficult and tiresome to try to kill so I just ran away from them. Also, I felt I didn’t have enough oxygen to search for parts, never mind fight bad guys. Even once I knew where the parts were, I barely had enough O2 to run straight there and back.

Maybe if you added more of a stealth element so you could sneak past the bad guys?

Awesome job for your first game. I think it just needs a bit of polish ways to deal with oxygen and bad guys.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback and ideas! It definitely needs more polish, it was a hard task to balance the difficult, O2, and stuff like that. Thanks again! Maybe I can try to fix these for the final game version later on.

A bit too difficult for my tastes, but I can respect your choice to make it harder given the atmosphere you're trying to create. Would be more accessible if the difficulty was more customizable. I really like the artwork: it shows "explorer in a vast, unfamiliar, hostile world" so well. I also wish the character moved faster, even if you have to adjust other things (e.g., speed of oxygen loss) to compensate.

The text was tiny!!! I think it's because you used the default font for Godot, which is tiny, barely readable text. No idea why Godot thinks that's an acceptable default.

Developer

Thanks for your feedback! Yea I agree, most of the people are commenting about the difficulty. About the small text, I guess it depends on resolution? I don't know, but I will check it out, it is in fact the default font size. Thanks!

Dig the pace and art and sounds. Nice one! Cant hit enemies, or takes many hits and I gave up to quick?

Developer(+1)

Thanks!! yea actually it takes too many hits, like 10 or so haha, they are quite tough

I like the spooky space setting and music, and the game is fun, but hard.

Developer

Thanks! yea I think I exaggerated on the difficulty. It's my first ever game and game jam, it was very hard to have balance.
