Hm, definitely seems like a coll idea and it truly was a good game!
But the problem for me was, the light around the guards is bigger than portrayed, so i was getting really annoyed at the start and had to really get used to the distance.
But was fun!
Yeah a few people I’ve had try the game told me the same thing… It’s actually not bigger, I swear! If you increase your brightness to the maximum, you’ll see, it might be subtle, but the light goes a bit farther than without the brightness.
I could have made it smaller though, but in some edge cases it meant that the player would be partially in the light but still not detected, given that I do my raycasting from the centre of the sprite.
Thanks for your comment, it’s good feedback!
The game was fun, but difficult, I didn't finish, but that's due to a time constraint. I also really enjoyed the shadows, it added a ton to the visual appeal of the game
Nicely done. Three parts was the best I could do in the time that I had.
Hey, i played your game i liked the idea but it's really hard i can't pass the level one. You could have more checkpoints.
Oh I’m sorry you couldn’t figure it out! I didn’t want to add checkpoints though, as it is the point of the game to win in one go, by being patient and observing the patterns to avoid the guards. Thanks for playing !
