Damn. Actually really liked this game, it was simple yet interesting, full of little easter eggs and what not... I can proufly say, that i beat this game on hard mode...but the best thing in the game was warping. Tho you could have mentioned how to use it.

The audio was great for this! :D I agree with acsparks regarding the fact that the player unceremoniously pops when they touch something they don't want to. A many-lives system could be a nice addition. I would also personally make the sword a little faster so its more of a strong SWING motion, since I sorta had to step back and forth when I wasn't sure if I had timed my movement exactly with the sword.

I like the idea of the warp, but also, it didn't work for me 😅 Nothing ever happened pressing RMB. I liked the two endings I did manage though. It's not often you see a game jam game with multiple endings :D Thanks for submitting!

ah ok thanks for the comment and letting me know the problem, which version of the game did you play?

Liked the audio and the combat system.  Player felt good to control.  I would have personally liked a  lives system so you don't just immediately die when touched.  Unfortunately I couldn't get the warp to work, so wasn't able to complete the game.  The tileset was nice, although the enemies were a bit abstract compared to the player.  The carrot just ends the game, perhaps touch the interdimensional carrot of mystery could have given the player the ability to warp?

I like to use particles and some sound effects to give deaths  a bit more pep, perhaps you could do something like that in your next game to deaths/actions a bit more impact.  Nice menu system (one of the menus was bugged for me).

Edit: Is there any chance that you left the dialog running? I have set the player unable to warp while the dialog is still there. Also thanks for the warning about the menu, i think i may have forgot to edit the navigation method it in the script

Thanks for your reply, I should have definitely add particles for enemy/hit and lives now that you mentioned it(I had thought otherwise). As for the warp, I don't know why it didn't work, it worked for me most of the time unless I'm moving around too fast and miclick, I think I should have made the clicking detection area bigger? As for the carrot I'm sorry that it was disapointing, I initially had much bigger plans for it but I couldn't bc of scope and it was rather something i added latter without thinking much(a really bad part on me).

Besides that, thanks for the complement on the tileset, it was my first time ever making something like that :))
