Nice tower defense game. Audio and visuals fit the game nicely. I think it lacked a bit in variation. As such it was a bit too easy. Also, as others have said, the create turret button is not apparent as a button at all. Took me a while to figure out. After that, I thought the stuff on the bottom might be buttons too (because they look similar), but they weren't.

I really did like this game a lot, once I figured out how to place a turret. This is a nice tower defense style game.

Some thoughts though…

  • The “button” doe buying turrets isn’t immediately apparent as a button. It looks very similar to the text at the bottom of the screen regarding bank account and Growhouses.
  • I wish I could buy some more grow houses. Since each grow house gives me 25 credits, and there’s two of them, it would be a nice risk-reward choice for the player whether they should spend some credits to get another growhouse or buying more defense.
  • Either a couple new routes and/or a couple extra hard enemies would enhance the challenge of this game. After a couple waves I had enough turrets down that no wave was a risk past a certain point… in fact, I think I want five waves without ever putting a new turret down and wasn’t even worried.
  • At least one extra turret type could be fun too. Give the player some extra choice in their move.

The mechanics of this game are solid. I really enjoyed playing it!

This game is really fun, kept me engaged for long.

I liked the overall presentation, especially the art was really clean and cool. Also seeing my turrets destroy the enemies hords felt quite satisfying. But I agree with others that adding another element to mix up the gameplay would have been great. As it is, it's one of the few games this jam which I consider too easy :D But overall, really nicely done!

Personally I'm a tower defense freak so I dont really know if my assessment is kinda screwed, but this was a fun game for me that I enjoyed. The effects and simple, yet clear art + sound design makes it really enjoyable. Even though the game was short and enjoyable, I hoped that it had different towers or upgrades.

I think more enemy variety would be great , even if it's just a palette change for the design. Take that in combination with enemy placement would have been the best since it kinda gets easy in late game since you can just spam tower (there were a lot of good spots for towers too).

Besides that maybe you should turn the alpha of the tower range line when placing towers in order to make it easier to see when towers are clumped together in late game. Outside of that as I said, I really like the game!

Thanks for the game, its a solid tower defense game. Would have liked a bit more layers in gameplay or decision making

Maybe a lit bit of variety would improve! But overall is a nice entry! Good Job!

It felt a bit to easy and I thought it was open-ended but then there was an end.

It was very cute and stylish and very satisfying knowing my carrots were safe ;). Some more choices woul'd have made it more interesting but it was defenitely a fun experience.

It's hard to get a sense of progression, but the graphics and sounds are nice and snappy!
