I really liked playing the game. I got to the bad end, I'll try to get to another soon.
Story+shader+audio create a great horrific lab-accident-resident-evil-vibe. Keep going!
Don't sweat trying to find the good ending too much - we sort of never got to implementing it... 😅
Is there any plan on implementing the other one(s)?
Unfortunately, we didn't get time to implement any other end than the "Bad end". Nice job on completing the game!
The art and audio gave it a dreary atmosphere that I loved. The controls felt responsive.
I had not idea what to do in the beginning. I accidentally placed the gas can into the darkness so I could not get it back. Perhaps some indication on what I can click would be nice.
Overall, I really liked the atmosphere of the game.
Dreary audio? Aww yeah! Thank you, that was exactly what I was going for.
I'm really bad at puzzle games so I couldn't go too far in a reasonable amount of time :O That said, graphics and sound effects are on point. Great job !
Thanks! It was a blast making the sounds and music!
Extremely good atmosphere!
I feel like the elements were kind of hard to parse out visually, and that added a bit to the confusion of what was going on and the things that I was supposed to be doing.
I really liked it, it seems like one of the strongest submissions to the Jam!
Thanks for the feedback! THere we're originally going to be outlines on hover of key elements, and something I could have done as well in hindsight is apply the material I used to make the book/lightswitch stand out on the pipe pieces.
Thanks for the feedback and kind words, and thanks for playing!
Thanks for making the source open! I'm definitely going to look into how everything works, since, even though I have feedback, I was extremely impressed by the game; it's so pretty!
Of course! Feel free to, it's a super awesome thought that someone might want to learn from the game we made. I'm glad the source can give you that opportunity. :)
Liked the visuals. Was a bit hard at times to see objects especially if you put them in a place they do not belong but I guess that’s part of the concept. As already said some indication of the current phase might have helped but overall pretty solid game and atmosphere!
Nah! Visibility is definitely desired, and it's not an intentional part of the art style to obfuscate critical pieces. Unfortunately it just wasn't something I was able to balance on the art side in time.
Thank you for playing, and thank you for the feedback!
Looks just amazing. Great mood with visuals, music and writing.
I managed to break my first time by putting pipes behind the desk, then they would just disappear and I couldn't pick them up.
Some more feedback would be nice, at first I wasn't sure if I was in phase 2 or still in phase 1 and something was missing.
Awesome game, good luck!
Yeaaaahhhh... Fun fact, we also forgot to put collision on the tank, so you can put pieces inside of that as well.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed it!
I had some trouble figuring out how to beat it actually, not a phrase I thought I'd ever utter. But the game is absolutely gorgeous, and once I got going with the actual gameplay, quite fun and interesting.
What was used to export this - GLES3 or 2? In the future, I'd recommend 2 if it was not. I noticed it was a tad slow on my machine, which admittedly is a strong-but-still-POS Mac, but it generally doesn't run web-builds of GLES3 very well, and nor do most computers. So in the future, if you did GLES3, you may want to try 2 and see if it works any better. It didn't massively affect the gameplay though, which was lucky.
Thanks for the review! It was GLSL2. I noticed it ran slow on my wifes computer. Her computer usually handles games well. I wonder if we put too many nodes in our tree.
It's possible it's just Godot running badly on web with models and such. Overall though, good game.
It's a good puzzle game! But yea had a bit of trouble understanding it, great work tho! Props!
Definitely an amazing entry for this jam! Although a bit hard to understand what to do and where to start
I'm not really a puzzle fan but this game is surprisingly good for a jam game. Congratulations to all the team.
