I enjoyed playing your game! At first I was a little confused because I thought that the hint 'make sure you take longer' is from a misleading narrator :D
The static and dynamic blocks are well balanced (no overpowered block that made another obsolete) and the goal of taking long is more challenging than I originally thought. Despite that I often had a glitch where two blocks sticked together when moving around. Sometimes I pressed 'play' and the last placed block was placed behind the play button.
Thanks for stopping by ! Definitely will work on that bug !
Fun puzzle game! Trying to arrange the blocks to have the ball reach the goal was entertaining. It made me think "How can I cheese it?". An activity I enjoy doing in these kind of games. The art and music suited the aesthetic of the game very well.
The controls were good, but I encountered a bug where some blocks would follow you after you left-click even though you are not dragging them. This was annoying, but I managed to find a solution by just right-clicking the object many times.
Overall, a fun puzzle game.
Thank you very much for playing !
Completed it wanting more levels -really fun and addictive! Graphics and audio is polished. Sometimes it can be awkward placing blocks as others have said, and I'm not sure if you intended the top right area to have collision. Would like to see more including new types of blocks, maybe a level editor. Nice work :)
Really thrilled to hear from you, thank you so much! The top right area has a collision to prevent overlapping with the draggable platforms (We use KinematicBody2D to implement them). Perhaps its the nature of the move_and_slide function.
Pretty neat mechanics. Had some glitches when placing the blocks but overall a sweat level design - challenging yet still possible. Definitely would like some more levels (maybe also with some new blocks).
Thanks for stopping by !
Yeeeees, the incredible machine with a twist! Love it. : D
Thanks man!
I like this game’s concept quite a bit. The graphics are nice, the music fits, but the controls could use some work, because I did encounter an issue where parts would get stuck to my cursor or I would select multiple parts at once. I think if you fix the control issues and maybe add some more variety to the starting and ending positions this could become a rather nice game to spend a little while on.
yeaah, the game has bugs where the blocks would stick together or randomly warps to another place, we're looking for ways to fix it. But thanks for your input! hope you enjoyed the game :)
This game is a lot of fun! Having to try to make your machine stall for the longest amount of time is a unique challenge (I think usually it'd go the other way around). I think the editor could use some improvements. As you said in the description there are some bugs; sometimes when I hit start one of my objects would teleport to the start button, like it's still in focus after I released it or something. Some other QOL features would be nice too (such as selecting multiple objects), but that isn't really expected for a jam game. So overall, really amazing entry!!
Hi!Thanks for stopping by ! glad you've like it ! Also, really appreciate your suggestion!
Cute game. Had some trouble on the second level trying to place the spring block. When I went to press place it would change position under play button. Would suggest having a key (such as space) to restart the map for quick testing.
Congrats on finishing your entry.
Thanks for checking in! Yeah, our game has minor bugs about the random block placement, which could be resolved by clicking the background. Restarting the map with a keyboard key would be a great feature! Thanks for your input :)
