The fights were really tough, I was really bad at it and didn't won any. The map and ship mechanic are quite interesting and the music fits to the atmosphere. Keep simulating!
You made a number of different encounters, the art is nice, the concept is neat! A great effort, I would love to play the completed game!
This was a very ambitious game! I agree with other commenters that the controls on battle scenes were a bit clunky and the map was hard to navigate as I couldn't see my ship move across it. But that aside, so much good here, but this is too big a gam for a single week-long jam. Will you continue it afterwards?
I feel like I should at least fix all of the bugs and make this game completable. Not sure about further work on this concept, maybe, but I have too many projects already :)
I really like what you did here, even if it's a bit rough around the edges. The procedural map set up is really cool- it reminds me of Starfox 64 how the routes converge on the boss level at the end
The controls and combat could be tighter but it sounds like from the other comments you know that. I wasn't able to test/iterate my game much before submitting either so I can relate big time.
Great job on getting something so ambitious completed during the jam! It's definitely a promising foundation even if there's more work to do.
Great game. I like the mix between managing your space craft and having some combat.
I agree with what had been said that the controls need some love.
Controls surely need some love, I 100% agree
This was intended to be a part of work on polishing the game, which never happaned because of deadline
the movement is wayy too slow to get anywhere in combat, but the rest is really well done
Yeah, it's kinda (but not really) intended
You can put scrap into thrusters and mobility to improve it
But, in general you are right, starting speed is too slow, but I didn't have time to balance it better
Even if you didn't polish the game I still liked it!
Thanks! How far did you get? (hoping for someone to at least look at the boss :) )
I only got a couple of levels in lol
It's good anyway. Hope you got enough scrap to look at some upgrades
