The character sprite art is really good. A rope is always a nice addition to a platformer as well and I could see this being really cool if developed further. Music was great too.
I got stuck really easily, I think most of that could be avoided by letting the player jump after they attach the rope. Or at least adding a boost to the momentum when the player reaches the end of the rope to climb up walls.
I like where this is going! The art style is great and I think your core gameplay has potential.
I was ready to give up real fast, but I stuck with it and really started to enjoy the rope mechanic! I feel like it has serious potential!

Really love the art style - character looks really cool. For me the rope mechanic was fun but needed tweaking - especially for a first-time player. I got stuck in a pit a couple times so maybe a thought towards level design in the first instance to get the player used to using the rope in a safe area to get the hang of it (maybe a small corridor at first). For me I also wanted more of a swing on the rope - it seemed it took a while to get some swing momentum from being stationary.
I'd love to see this more developed, and would definitely love to see more of this art style and world building.
The rope mechanic was quite fun to mess around with, although hard to control. The music was stellar for me.
