Cool entry. I really liked the execution (levels, sounds, music). Unfortunately the gameplay was a bit repetitive because of the single attack.

Developer

Thank you.

Agreed, there's definitely room for improvement in the gameplay, it's quite simple and play sessions usually do not last very long. We had ideas for environment hazards, different weapons, and varying obstacles per stage, but were limited on time.

This is incredibly fun and uses the theme so well, right down to its core frankly. Of all the entries I’ve played so far I think this might be the most solid. I love the art style too. When the winner looks at the camera it really made me laugh! Great job guys :)

Developer

Thank you!

Wow, really solid entry guys, and I mean it. This game should have more rates by now, tbh. The idea, art, execution, and the acessibility options are quite well made 🙂

I believe playing with a friend is quite fun, since I could more or less cheese the battle against the cpu by mashing left click haha

Developer(+1)

Thank you, haha. Yeah, the cpu isn't that bright. Originally, we were just targeting 2-players but figured it'd be better to have at least some sort of single-player. Playing with another person is definitely the way to go.

Nice game! Love the art. The music is good too.

Developer

Thanks!

Those music stings and environment are great.  One minor gripe is it's a bit annoying when the foreground blocks the characters and sometimes it's tricky to tell them apart.  Could always call it simulating the fog of war that's always around during point blank club fights.

Developer

Thank you! Agreed, some of those foreground elements are a bit invasive. I think I know what you're suggesting, a mask/cutaway around each fighter? That's a good idea!
