This was a really neat spin on asteroids! I really like level 3. I appreciate the call back to a certain other old game, and the usage of color was well handled (it makes new / important things really pop on the screen visually). I think the rogue-like aspects meld well with the game, and I appreciate the generous amount of life that's given to start. I enjoyed playing!
Really cool take on a classic, I had a lot of fun playing through it. My time was 5m39.2s
Nice throw back to asteroids. Enjoyed it! Felt a lot like the OG asteroids game, but that's not a bad thing.
Seemed like a bog standard Asteroids game, but then the Snake level hit and I was like, woah! Controls are satisfyingly responsive, sound effects very pew pew, upgrades are fun as well as the trade off in decision making between health and said upgrades, and I'm impressed by the level of thought to include a new game + mode!
Some kind of bug breaking the graphics on web (Mac Safari). Will try the download instead
I was able to win! The first time I died at level 4, but the second time I bought speed down and multiple shots and I was able to unlock NG+1. It was fun! :)
I loved Asteroids as a kid! Nice upgrade system you added :)
Too young to have played Asteroids growing up but guess I would not have been very good at it haha. The ship controls weren't great and was sliding way too much so it got frustrating. Ultimately just decided to stay put and spin around firing which honestly worked out for the most part. Really liked the enemies and upgrade system though, nice additions.
Nice! It just reminds me that I coldn't play asteroids... even years ago (in ancient times)
I like the spin you put on the theme, and how you modernized an old classic. The art and sound are nice and crisp, which goes great with it!
My only two complaints is that the ship is a bit fiddly to control due to the physics carrying, and that the hitboxes for the coins are way too small.
Great take on a classic! Enjoyed the new enemy types as well as the roguelike elements!
Cool take on asteroids! I like the card system addition :)
