Game Description
You're a tiny guy in the ancient world of the dinosaurs. Eat your way to the end.
How does your game tie into the theme?
The game is set in the ancient world of the dinosaurs. It's not at all scientifically accurate though!

That's awesome! The mechanic reminds me of Osmos. I like your hand scribbled graphics and font, that gives your game a very consistent and original style :)
I wish I could just restart at the latest 'stage of grow' as it takes a while to recollect all the food again.
Keep growing!
Thank you!! For the style I wanted to try something different from my usual pixel art and I think it turned out pretty good. I agree, I regret not adding stage checkpoints, just another lesson learned. :)
This game has dinosaurs whats not to love? Had lots of fun eating things. My eyes got bigger than my belly though when getting a bit too peckish I tried to eat a big dino and he ate me back.
Hahaha thank you for playing! Yes you need to be careful about what you try and chomp ;)
I've had so much fun playing this game. I finally beat it. I suck at this kind of thing so took me a few tries but never had so much fun being a munching dino! :D
Nice job managing to complete it! Thank you so much for coming back to play it again!! :D
Hey, this game is just like the first part of Spore, and it was quite fun! This game is quite fun too :) It might be repetitive, but wanting to see what was going to happen kept me playing, and I got a 4:47:638 in the end.
Nice game Connor, I enjoyed it 🙂
Thanks! I actually had the first part of Spore in mind when making the game so it’s really cool that you’ve seen that! Thanks a lot for your nice comment, I’m glad you enjoyed it! :D
Thanks for the game, that was really fun
Thank you for playing!
Absolutely loved it! Love the way you took on the theme, the concept is awesome, and the dinosaur running around on the menu was such a nice touch!
Thank you! I love a good main menu easter-egg, I think it gives games some charm. :)
This game was really fun! Loved the wacky premise! It gave me major agar.io vibes.
I appreciated that after the character grows, you show creatures from the previous size class(es) for scale. A great take on the theme, and a perfect length for a game jam!
Thank you! Yeah I think I managed to hit that sweet spot for the game’s length this jam :)
Loved this idea, great use of the theme!
Thanks a lot! :)
Great Game! Finished in 4:09 I love everything about it!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it :D
This game was a ton of fun! I love how you just scaled everything from the previous level down and added a big new dinosaur LOL. Love that. Such a charming indie game menu and UI. It's simple, but it feels weirdly on theme for a jam submission. Nice job.
Thanks! Yeah that mechanic is so simple but it felt so right once I added it. :)
What a fun concept! Such an enjoyable experience. If only this game was around in dinosaur times, we could have used this as an educational video game. They could still be alive today RIP dinopals.
Thank you! Perhaps if the next jam theme is time-travel I’ll figure out how to send this game back in time to ensure the dino’s survival to the modern era…
Thanks for all of your efforts to restore the dinosaurs!
Great fun, the dinosaurs are genuinely scary looking, and the satisfaction of them finally running away from you when you're big enough is great.
I second the comment about GWJ#38, got a good style going. :)
Haha yep the red ones on the last level are so fast and scary! Thanks a lot! :D
Genuine fun. I smiled at the first scale change/level change. Love it. Graphics and gameplay are top. Sound is OK. Controls could maybe be tweaked a little for better movement - actually you link the source, I could d/l and try myself. If I get time!
Thanks for the great feedback! I was temporarily separated from my main equipment during this jam so I didn’t manage to make the sound as good as I have in the past sadly! Thanks for playing. :)
This was fun! I really liked the prestige mechanic.
Thanks! Yeah after I added that the game instantly felt so much more fun. :)
This was really fun to play. I think the blood and smoke effects were really cool.
Thank you! I probably went a bit overboard making those effects but it was fun so… ¯\(ツ)/¯
I really enjoyed this! It was so satisfying to see things start to run away from me and chase them down, especially the fast red ones in the second last level. The ending movie was also really funny. My time was 4:07:650 :)
Thanks a lot! I’m glad you enjoyed it :D
I LOVE this one! I saved the planet in 3:35:468 !
The art style is awesome, the handwritten instructions works well with the rest of the game and the Easter egg in the main menu is super cool! The controls felt good and I felt myself panic a bit when I was chased by the larger dinosaurs! Superb game!
Ha, while playing this I thought about a game from GWJ 38, mostly because of the art style and the whole feeling of the game. Was happy to discover you were actually the one who made "A Little Green Beetle's Quest". You definitely have your own art style and game feel. (I know that one was pixel art, but it's still something with the style of the characters and the feeling of the game world that made me think of it while playing this).
Thank you!! I’m really glad you like it! That’s a really good time. Also it’s so cool that you remember my other game! Thank you for playing them :D
Super fun and silly game! Loved it!
Thanks! I’m glad you enjoyed it :)
Love the art style!
Thank you! :)
This game was hilarious!
Thanks a lot! :)
