I enjoyed discovering the different properties of the ingredients to create the best combination, great mechanics for the jam theme. I also liked the music and the design style. Really nice entry!
Glad you enjoyed it! I have to say the music isn't mine. Ran out of time to make my own.
Nice little game !
I really liked the concept and the ingredient's sprites. I have to admit, I didn't understand directly there was a tutorial, so I was a bit lost, but then it was fun trying to have the maximum amont of points, the cards are very well done to work together :)
Thank you for the kind response! Yes i could have made the tutorial more visible, thats a mistake.
This is a fun game! The core concept and mechanics are really good. The combine concept has been used really well in a cooking scenario. Well crafted scoring rules. It’ll take some time to understand and optimize for all of them. Also liked the refresh and remove options with limits on usage. Once an item is added to the cauldron, I'm not sure if there's a way to see the rules for that item. Might be useful to show some info on hover, for example. Got to a score of 94 after several attempts. Good job overall :)
(Minor bug: the audio played only on the left speaker. Sometimes this happens if you use AudioStreamPlayer2D instead of just AudioStreamPlayer.)
Thank you for the detailed feedback!
Glad you liked the design!
There is indeed a hover mechanics implemented on items in the cauldron. Might take 1sec to show up but its there :D
And yes i used a 2d audio which now i know is not the best for non directional audio.
Now I see it :) Must have missed it earlier. Cool!
really fun concept, i was impressed by how intricate the different item combinations were! very nice job at designing the items! very creative and fun, well done!
