Hello,

Music and sound are amazing <3 Nice job :)
This game will be more intresting with combine part of ship by level with different ennemies. For exemple : Squishy and rapid ennemies we use rapid fire and rapid ship for killing easly.

Good work for this game <3

Thanks! Yea if I develop it further then I would definetly add more ship parts that would be useful to use against each enemy. :)

Yes I would like to echo the many comments about how well polished this game was! I didn't try all the combos but I did try each item. I really like that the variability was more than a simple stat change and you put effort into projectiles, secondary ability differentiation, etc. Not sure if I saw all the enemies - my high score was 14,700 and things were pretty intense!

I cannot really offer suggestions here, it is just so well put together! Maybe a sound to indicate that my ability had recharged would have been handy? And the sprites looked a bit rough with the antialiasing on my 2K resolution. Nitpicking, really, because the entry was great.

Congratulations on the good work! This will be a frontrunner, I think.

Also, fantastic work on the accessibility options! Remapping keys, colourblind mode, and high-contract enemies to background - you really put care into this!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! I don't have a monitor of that resolution, and I didn't have any antialiasing setting on in Godot, so I'm not sure how the sprites got messed up, I'll have to look into it. I'm glad you liked the accessibilty options! I've been studying them since the last jam since I missed out on getting them done that time. I'd ideally like to have them  in everything I do, unless it's not neccessary. :)

Great retro vibes! Very polished entry, well done. Perhaps the difficulty curve could ramp up a bit quicker, this would be my only critique. :)

Developer

Thanks! :)

Really impressive! Absolutely top notch presentation, and I enjoyed trying out different combinations of ship, weapon, and secondary.

I really enjoyed using the EMP to wipe entire screens of enemies. Overall, this is a very simple yet polished arcade shmup. Great job!

Developer(+2)

Thanks! Yea that might be my favourite part of it too. And it was so easy to set up! I was thinking I was gonna have to do something with arrays or whatever to find all the enemies in the scene, then I realized I could just send a signal to them all at once! I love Godot, haha!

I'm really bad at it, but this is a really fun one! Really cool to try the different loadouts to see what was most effective. I found the first gun to be the most effective and fun to use. Great entry!

Thank you!

Cool take on a shoot em up! I got to 17400 on the second attempt with Spread Shot, Jade Juggernaut, and EMP Array. The powerful secondary weapon with cooldown is a good mechanic. EMP Array seemed to be always stronger than the other two, although I’ll need to play more to understand the game better and say for sure. Good job overall :)

Developer

Thank you very much! Yea the other two had shorter cooldowns to balance them, but they probably should have been even shorter to make them as useful since the EMP is so strong.

I didn't notice the shorter cooldowns! Maybe they're more balanced than I thought. Pretty cool.

Had a fun time, would have been nice if there were some more enemy patterns! Great presentation though.

Developer

Thank you! Yea I had some other ideas for enemies but didn't have the time unfortunatly!

Simple and fun. Loved the parallax of the stars. Tried each of the weapons. The first was the most satisfying to me. Nice job!

Developer

Thanks! That's my favourite weapon too, I'm pleased with how satisfiying the shots feel when they hit, haha!

Incredible game. I had a lot of fun playing this one! My best spaceship: basic gun (called "low damage" but has the best dps), heavy armor (for a more forgiving life total) and emp.

Nice job on this one!

Developer

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!
