Game Description
For reasons that seem to defy all logic, your partner is laying eggs in mid-air as fireworks fall from the sky.
How does your game tie into the theme?
You need to protect the fragile eggs from cracking on the ground and protect the (emotionally) fragile chicks from loud fireworks.

Good work! That last level made me smile :)
This was really fun! Y'all have a neat take on the theme, and I like it a lot haha
Super fun to play and interact with.
This is great! What a strange idea to have eggs and fireworks and yet it works so well! The chicken noises are great, and I was surprised by the variety of mechanics, like the clouds that slow things down. Good job!!
Very neat game - like the background sound - good job
I like the easter bunny at the end
I was slightly concerned by launching fireworks back up at my partner, but it seems everything went okay! I like the obstacles in the sky that make the gameplay a little more complex.
Thank you! Perhaps also slighly inexplicable why your partner is dropping the fireworks as well as the eggs but we ran out of time to implement a separate spawner of the fireworks.
Really fun game! Having the bouncy objects was a nice way to shake timings up and protecting the chicks from rockets is fun too. Maybe if it was a bit faster and had some intense music it could get pretty hectic. I like the graphics too, they're simple but effective.
Thank you for the kind words! We definitely wanted to introduce some more intense music but it was a bit beyond us this time.
Only major complaint I had was that WASD didn't work, had to use arrows and mine are in a weird spot on this keyboard. But overall this game was quite fun, and the music/sfx were all great. Good design ideas here too, rising to the level of a real game. I recommend continuing development if you have the energy and maybe even figuring out how to publish it to the Google Play store for a couple bucks or something - it has the potential to be really fun on there.
We are really glad you liked it, even in spite of the control issues! It hadn't occurred to us that different keyboard set ups would make the arrow keys not great for some. That's a simple fix we can hopefully implement after the judging period. We also wanted to make it so that the mouse could be used too.
