Awesome game! A great take on the theme that is very unique! Impressed by the number of levels and the inclusion of a level editor!! Fantastic entry!

Loved the concept and graphics. I got stuck at one level where I couldn't rise the boat more on the right but I'm not sure if it's because I couldn't understand the puzzle :O

Otherwise, on the graphics side, the pixel art rotation was a bit jarring. it should be possible to display the sprites at a higher definition in a viewport, then scale down if you want to avoid that.

Nice, clever puzzle game. I enjoyed this one a lot.

This was a really clever puzzle game with nice aesthetics. Nice work, and kudos for including a level editor. It did feel a bit slow at some points, where I knew what I needed to do to solve the puzzle, but it just took a while to execute.

Love the aesthetics. I leaned towards the "same" idea (with tides and stuff), before starting on a different idea. But this is way better implemented than I would've come up with. Great work! Love the water physics!

One piece of critics, I had some trouble at the start to understand what I had to do. So maybe add some kind of tutorial or something. Nothing big, but just minor ^^

Super unique and original idea. Glad someone went with the tides angle. I had the "objects falling through walls" bug as well.

I was never completely in control of the water mechanic, perhaps there was a better strategy but I ended up going very slow on most levels.

I made it to level 7 but couldn't raise the water high enough on the right side. I'm not sure if I had the wrong solution, or if I just wasn't controlling the water correctly. For a puzzle game I prefer to be left knowing I just couldn't solve it, rather than control it. :)

Amazing for a first submission though, hope you continue to refine it!

Cool premise, cool art, nice challenge, lots of fun! Well done!

Great concept. I may have had a couple situations where objects went through walls and completed the level for me, but I’m not 100% sure, it’s possible I just got lucky and circumvented some of the obstacles without realizing it.

The physics made things a little cumbersome (possibly too much friction?), but generally the slow, imprecise movement is fairly appropriate for the context, so it may be safe to just call it a “feature.” :)

The retro graphics were a neat touch, and the inclusion of a level editor was really neat!

Awesome game ! Great mechanics ! Movement is sometimes a bit tricky when on the edge of water.

Congrats

agreed, always an issue when you make games that rely on built-in physics is that a fair bit of control is taken from you. Glad to hear you enjoyed regardless!

I was hoping someone would do a tide-based game! Really well done and great execution on the gameboy aesthetic.

Developer

thank you!!
