Nice job! It was a little annoying to play in such a small window size, but overall it was really fun. The sound design reminded me a lot of Hollow Knight’s (by team cherry) and gave off a kind of cavy feeling. On to the negative! Like others, the movement felt… unfinished and buggy. The infinite jumps made the building system kind of pointless, and you could cling onto walls for as long as you liked.

Congrats on submitting, good luck to your future games!

Thanks! Yeah, I have had a lot of issues with the movement. I will try to fix it for the post-jam version. I wanted it to be playable as a fullscreen game but I left it as a last-minute thing, I found a game-breaking bug and I completely forgot to do it while  I was rushing to submit the game before the deadline ends. The downloadable game can be played in full screen.

Nice submission. I played for about 10 minutes, but didn't finish. As others have mentioned, the control/movement of the player needs attention. I just started using one piece to solve most puzzles, and the current puzzles don't really encourage diversifying. Also having the physics enabled on the object while I'm still placing it with the mouse leads to some wonky interactions.

Good job submitting to the jam!

Thanks for playing! Disabling the physics of the shapes sounds like a good idea. I will give it a try on the post-jam version.

Pretty good, I kinda worry about the flashing lights,  the premisse is quite fun, the mechanics are quite clever, I kinda wished that the hands could move you even when in block place mode, otherwise the first hand ride where there is the raining boulders is pretty much down to luck, also really like the music and sounds.

Thanks for the feedback! You are completely right. This was the original idea but I wasn't able to implement it in time because I had a lot of issues with the general movement of the player. I will work on  it on the after jam version.

The game crashes when I pressed play

Developer

This is strange. Which version did you try to play?

the html version

This is weird. After the Jam, I will upload the GLSE2 version. It might be a GLSE3 issue.

I had to sweat to complete this game. In some places the game does not behave very well, and the controls are not easy, but overall it's cool, I liked to climb with the help of blocks)

Developer

Thanks for playing! I had a hard time with the movement of the character which slowed me down a lot. There is going to be some rework on it.

Excellent execution! I really liked the building system and associated puzzle platforming aspects. For a game jam game there's a lot of gameplay here. The controls felt a bit clunky especially swapping between build and move modes where I felt like I wanted to be able to move while messing with things. Other than that no real complaints. Well done!

Developer

Thank you for your feedback! Yes, you are completely right, I have had a lot of issues with the mode change. It slowed me down quite a lot actually. I will look for a better solution after the jam.

Really nice game! The charming and somewhat eerie visuals go well with the music, and the puzzle elements work well.

Developer

Thank you for your kind words!

Nice job! I liked the idea of placing the blocks to build your way up and block enemies. It was really difficult for me not to want to press R to Rotate the blocks. I ended up resetting a lot on accident. I think having a reset was a great idea, but I would have preferred it mapped to a key a little further away.

Developer

Thank you for the feedback! Moving the reset key doesn't sound like a bad idea. It is very near to F too.

This is a cool building game! I only used the number 2 shape though lol

Developer

Thanks! I kind of expected it to happen. I really need to work on my game design skills.
