Effective use of your assets to make something truly creepy, also impressive how you kept it in theme at the same time. The shaders used here are super cool as well, I love the "tv effect". Great entry, I unfortunately died to my freaky ass son.

Aww, what a heartwarming story about rebuilding a lost one. Nothing more touching than to see one's child brought back to life, screeching demonically and wanting to kill you.

I liked the game, fun little story and quick to play. Got two ending. Good job at the sound effect and screeches, the video filter too. I just struggled a bit with the hidden doors, since I thought they were originally part of the scenery

Developer

Thank you, yeah the hidden doors could have been done a little bit better, but I'm glad that you enjoyed the game!

Very spooky. I love the dark design of the game that can easily send chills down my spine.

Spooky game. Even the title made me uncomfortable.

Developer(+1)

Thanks for playing! Hope you enjoyed it!

I can say that was absolutely horrifying. I loved it! It's hard to pull off horror in 2D, I feel, since it's not exactly a "natural" perspective for wanting to convince someone they're in the environment, but I'll be darned if you didn't pull it off perfectly! Genuinely impressed. The bottles of alcohol just laying around the office really sold the story for me, truthfully.

thank you so much! I am glad that you enjoyed my game!

You've nailed the ambience! I was always overly cautious, trying to predict jump-scares! What a grim take on the theme! The CRT filter could've been diminished a little, but it fitted with the overall art direction, so it's still a great entry. Bravo.

Thank you! Yeah, like you said, the CRT effect could have been handled better, but still, thank you for playing!

The CRT filter was a bit much, but that coupled with the audio created an atmosphere that was on point! There was an uneasy, uncomfortable feeling throughout, which is typical of atmospheric horror. Well done!

It was too much looking at it back now, but still thanks for enjoying my game! It means so much to me!

The vhs effect becomes quite hard to look at after a few minutes, but I liked the idea and the game kept me on my toes at all times

Developer (1 edit)

Yeah I agree that the vhs effect was a bit too much. Thank you for your comment and thanks for playing!
