pretty fun, the physics really add to the gameplay because you have to estimate where the crates will go and the discard feature kinda adds a resource management component to it, as others have pointed out I could not access past level 2 but from what I did get to play I think it was a decent game, and it felt pretty polished, good job :D

its playable, nice try

Great fun, I could see this becoming a fun game with some tweaking here and there. Simple controls, couldn't work out how to discard a crate to try to get more into a single train, right click didn't seem to work for me. Otherwise, fun game, nicely done.

Developer

Thank you! Strange that discarding didn't work for you. Were you holding the right mouse button down or just clicking it? Holding it down for 1 second should discard the crate you're currently holding. Seems like you got a good taste of the game anyway - thanks for playing!

Ahh yes, that was it, my bad.

More fun than it looks at first glance. Nice background music choice. I found this game stressful and relaxing at the same time. Great job! I don't know if I failed or completed level two because the timer ran out right when I was dropping a crate and I happened to be over the quit button so I accidentally clicked that. So having a slight pause between the timer running out and the score showing up would help. Or prevent the button click for a short period. I would like to have seen the other levels but I see you mention there is a bug getting to level 3 anyways.

For future levels and difficulty it would be cool if different colored trains could appear on different tracks. At least on the first two levels the trains were always in the same position.

Developer

Great feedback, thank you! Good point about the buttons at the end of each level. I think I nearly misclicked one during my playtests, so I'll definitely improve that. Disabling them for 1-2 seconds seems like a good solution.

I did implement a "random colours" mode for the tracks that does as you suggested, but found it a bit chaotic to balance against the other settings (number of tracks, spawn frequency, number of enabled colours, train speed, etc). Might revisit the idea though.

Thanks for playing!

Cool concept. I particularly like the graphics. Nice upbeat soundtrack.

Really liked this, the controls were a tad fiddly, I think either a shadow or a full on orthographic perspective would make it easier to drop the crates, but I kinda like the added little bit of complexity the perspective adds, I think the kid in me just found it really funny seeing a box roll of a moving train XD

Developer

You're right, aiming is slightly painful, especially on the second level with those outer tracks. The levels really need more tuning as well. I did originally try an orthographic perspective but found it was slightly too easy that way, so I'm going to figure out how to cast a shadow or decal and add it after voting ends. Thanks for playing!

Cool game, it is simple enough, good soundtrack, I like the idea of more points as you get more boxes on the same train. I would've suggest a shadow so you have more visual hint about the box distance from the ground.

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I wanted to add a shadow or some kind of decal, but I'm not sure how to do that in Godot yet so I didn't get around to it. Thank you for playing :)
