A strong contender indeed! This artistic piece took a lot of work, and it shows. I think the undertale style of combat is slightly lacking in variety, though, and it's a big part of each cat's personality. Ultimately, though, that is a nitpick.
This team should be proud of what they built!
I wanted to spend a lot more time on the combat, but I ended up having to work on a lot of other things to get the game to a finished state. Turns out it's hard to build an RPG during a jam, lol.
Cool design for a jam, I feel like I'm just bad at these type of games because I didn't really get far but its impressive the amount of work that went into it in a short amount of time. I think others also mentioned it but the Tv effect was pretty jarring for me a bit an option to turn that on or off would of been nice. but overall very impressive work for the time of the jam.

Pretty cool. Visuals were really nice and loved the Undertale like combat. Felt a little repetitive and the encounters started to feel slightly annoying after a while. But overall very fun!

Interesting take on the theme and interesting mix of gameplays.
Unfortunately I experienced a bug after playing for 10 minutes and screen essentially went blank - could not see my cat or others so had to quit and with no save file lost all my process. Hopefully I will get a chance to come back and play again as I would like to beat this one.
Sorry about that! Glad you enjoyed it up til the crash, though.
The bullet hell in this game was beautifully designed and I love the quirky consistency of the sprites' art style.
