Game Description
Help the Station Master make sure every passenger makes it onto the train - no matter what. Upside down if you have to!
How does your game tie into the theme?
Due to the overload of passengers on the train you must rotate the passengers to fit them in.

Nice short and fun game! quite original indeed!
Wow, this was such a cool little game. Very interesting idea, great execution. There's literally nothing negative to say about it. Great job, especially for a first game jam!
My best time was 37s! I liked the partial outlines and having to learn how each character is different, awesome work!
In this game, learn the outlines of 6 passenger types and match them as requested, rotating them to fit the chalk outline. You will do this 12 times and the outline will be partial at many instances.
It is, in fact, a simple game that controls just fine. Rather than being difficult on its own, it chooses to time you instead.
This is a healthy entry, and as you continue to jam, your ambitions will raise and you will be stronger for it.
A very good entry. I really like the use of the theme, the graphics, everything TBH.
The game is very consistent and everything is on point. I wish it was a bit longer but I also appreciate that it's just enough for a game jam.
Great job!
Thank you so much for the thoughtful comment :D Yeah I kept it short on purpose, but after seeing the overall reception I might finish it up with the remaining ideas I had in mind after tha Jam. Thank you for playing Rush Hour <3
Cool game! I really liked how unique the main mechanic was. Matching the characters to the outline was surprisingly hard for some of them. After a couple of goes I started to work out which outline matches which character so I can see that there's a lot of potential for progression here.
Thank you for your review! I'm incredibly happy to hear you enjoyed the game enough to give it a few goes. Thank you for playing Rush Hour :D
really love the pixel art here - mind the gap!
Hahahah I see someone got the TFL reference. Thank you giving Rush Hour a go <3
Small and fun game! All the parts are done well and come together to create a small, simple but fun experience, good job :)
Simple and nice game. Very short but stopwatch motivate you to improve score in the future runs. I like the music. But it's sometimes hard to understand to whom exactly certain part belong, because certain body parts are too similar in many passengers(like head for example)
Thank you so much for your feedback! I admit some of the outlines are a little confusing. Will definitely need to work on clarity in that aspect.
Thank you for giving Rush Hour a go though :D
Interesting game, liked the uniqueness of it, and was fun.
Thank you so much for giving Rush Hour a go! I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
what a unique idea, really like it, would've liked a longer gameplay
Thank you so much for giving Rush Hour a go! <3 I had a few ideas up my sleeve to improve replayability, and the original game loop actually had the player fill the train with 20 characters, but I lowered the amount to avoid risking players getting bored. Will keep this in mind next time and just have confidence to make the game loop longer. Thank you :D
This game is an artistic gem with a great sense of abstraction. I really like the simple idea that allows for the creation of a real game. Maybe I'm not very sharp today, but I was struggling to understand what SPA meant.....great job.
Your comment is so thoughtful, thank you! And I apologise for the SPA,.I only realised after the Jam ended that it's not as obvious as I thought. SPA = SPACE. I have no idea why I didn't just put an icon of the Spacebar instead. Especially since there's enough space on the screen to do so.. Hopefully this didn't keep you from enjoying the game though. Thank you for giving Rush Hour a go <3
This game is really well made and with great attention to the musical and graphic aspect. The gameplay loop is very satisfying and is fun even after several routes. It would be nice to see it expanded
You're too kind. Thank you so much for playing! I have a few ideas in mind to improve the game a teeny tiny bit and improve its replayability further. Thank you for playing my game, I'm super glad you enjoyed it!! :D
I enjoyed it. A couple of the shapes were maddening, which is perfect for a game like this. Much easier on the second play through.
Thank you so much! I wasn't sure whether to keep a few of the more "maddening" shapes, but decided to keep them in the end to give a chance for that "A-HA!" moment for players. Super happy the risk paid off. I had some ideas of varying the character rotation per play to improve replayability, might put it in after the voting period ends, maybe as a little update!
Thank you for giving Rush Hour a go :)
Hilarious game for anyone who has commuted to work in public transit before. It's a really funny take on the jam's theme.
I really enjoyed the idea and would have actually liked to keep playing through some more levels! It was short and sweet, fun and charming from start to finish. Very well done. I could see this as a perfect minigame in something like Mario Party or WarioWare!
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm glad the humour of my interpretation wasn't missed hahahah.
In all honesty I had a few more characters up my sleeve and wanted to possibly put them in a rotation so on each play you'll have a slightly varying set of characters to play with for improved replayability. Ended up axing it due to time constraints, but I'm super happy the basic game loop was enjoyable!!
Thank you for giving Rush Hour a go :)
Great Game!
Thank you so much for playing it! I'm glad you enjoyed it 🫡❤️
