Intriguing story and stunning pixelart!!! I like how you made the grass move as you walk thru it, it’s such a cool detail!

The controls feels a little strange though, you should definitely tune it in future to be perfect as movement is your game main system :D For now it’s just a bit off. I don’t know what exactly, maybe the velocity is changing too fast? idk

Great foundation for a cool game! Wish you luck

YOU CAN'T DO THIS TO ME - I WAS GETTING INVESTED IN THE STORY.

Super super nicely done. I really enjoyed this entry. The hopping blocks, while terrifying at first, didn't seem to really do anything. I did enjoy the one portion where the blocks destroyed a whole platform needed to reach the next portal.

Only thing I would say is that having to wait for the Broccoli head to finish talkign was a little annoying. I feel like you had two very conflicting things going on with the super fast and fluid movement, and the standing around having to wait for Broccoli head.

I would've much preferred the dialogue continue on the screen while I keep doing my thing hopping around the level.

Otherwise superbly done! I really hope you expand upon this further. Would love to see more levels.

IM SORRY! I really wanted to do more with the story but completely ran out of time lol. I will probably revisit it in the future when I have more unique ideas to add! Thanks for the feedback!

Very polished, impressive and very immersive.

Feel  like the disapearring blocks didn't have impact on gameplay. Having to stand next to the groot fella to get him to talk was also a little annoying. That's really all I have to say negatively though.

I liked the sound effects, art style, music, level design. Good potential here :)

Thank you for your feedback! The NPC dialogue system was definitely rushed lol

This is a platformer. Collect pink fragments or listen to the tree and you'll get the goal line for the next level.

It's a simple game, but I did encounter a failure state: the world effectively exploding, leaving you with nothing to stand on. I currently believe this means you're on a timer, but it could also mean "don't step on these specific blocks".

A healthy first entry. You'll be stronger as you continue to jam.

I had so much fun playing this! Really well-made. I am impressed. Nice little demo of something that can grow bigger

Thanks!

The platforming is pretty nice, but I think the character moves juuuust a bit too fast. Still, it's pretty impressive for something made in 72h, the art looks good, and the music is nice. I wish the levels had more to do than just collect squares to progress.

Thanks for the feedback! I definitely should have done more with the levels, but unfortunately my poor time management skills got in the way of that lol.
