Game Description
A first attempt at a shmup! We didn't get all of the features we wanted into the game in time (trust me, there is a lot of cut stuff in the project), though I'm still happy to present the thing we've been working on for the past week or so.
How does your game tie into the theme?
The shield mechanic. You overload your shield if you use it to absorb too many bullets, and you have to carefully manage your heat to achieve a high score.

awesome game I'll try to beat it
A solid choice for bullet hell enthusiasts, featuring impressive graphics and spot-on music and audio effects. It's a bit hard and I couldn't progress too far. I tried to fight the boss several times and I wish there were some health indicator or some parts would fall off when you shoot at it.
The game is a bit too hard for a game jam but it shows your skill level and it seems that you know what you're doing.
Great job! Keep it up!
damn, our own entry made me sweat but here it's an actual sensory overload - of enemies, bullets, shields - as intended i think.
I couldn't even check what focus do, so bad at this.
But i liked it. I can't provide some constructive critiques because of how little i achieved, but i have one thing - maybe you should tone down effects (reverb or echo) on explosion sound, i find it really distracting how long it lasts
very difficult for a jam audience
Sorry about that :/ An initial version of the game was too easy, so we might have gone a little overboard in terms of difficulty in an attempt to compensate. The intention was to make a challenging game, but I understand that people rating or casually playing might not have the time/patience to try improving at the game enough to beat it. I hope you enjoyed the game regardless of the difficulty!
Very impressed at the level of quality on this game.
Very difficult for me but I still had fun trying to make it farther than I did the time before.
It's a nice game, but it became a little too difficult too quickly for me. Overall, it has good graphics and nice sound. It's a really polished game. Good work!
Nicely done! I love galaga and I love enter the gungeon and this felt like a nice merge of those two. Great work!
cool stuff! will like to see a scoreboard
Awesome! Love me some bullet hell. Really nice polished engine. But obviously very difficult so I didn't really grind out a proper win from a full playthrough. Glad you put a 'boss practice' mode so I could at least experience all of the content! You should definitely check out Bullet Hell Jam whenever they hold it again in 2024. You really nailed the genre. Great work!
Very nicely done shmup! I wish I could bind the shield to shift, instead of the focus mode, and used X for focus firing instead. But it's a great game: great music and sfx, beautiful visuals and fun gameplay.
First of all I have to say that the controls and graphics for this are super duper well done.
The gameplay felt super snappy and addicting and the idea for the shield machanic linked to the multiplier was a super cool idea.
Nice job!!!
Fun game with nice mobility. The controls were smooth and the gameplay was enjoyable. I also enjoyed the aesthetics and the music of this little game.
Nice arcade. Love it, very engaging
Loved this. With some more audio touches, more content, you could sell this on steam!
I advise everyone to play it with a controller! You will be able to fully enjoy this excellent space shooter!
A very well made shmup! The controls are smooth and intuitive, the music is awesome, the visuals clear and the difficulty challenging in a good way!
I've played the first level over and over again and it made me wish there would be more!
