Game Description
Armed with a red lantern to reveal invisible ghosts and a flashlight to stun them, your objective is simple: escape through the door. Use WASD for movement, right-click to activate the red lantern, and left-click for the flashlight.
How does your game tie into the theme?
Your character has stumbled into a haunted mansion and must find a way out, your survival depends on your ability to navigate the haunted halls. The ghosts patrol relentlessly, forcing you to either study their patterns and slip by unnoticed or use your flashlight to create a brief window for escape.

The music and art are fantastic. This is a wonderful entry, good job! It was fun to run around and try to avoid the ghost.
Congrats on your first GWJ entry. Really liked the art and music for this project. Especially the cover art in the menu. The game play mechanic was well done. As others mentioned it didn't seem possible to win or die, and you could get soft locked. Regardless it was fun to go through the mansion.

We found out some of the game breaking issues after we managed to get the game uploaded with the web export
but we managed to update some bugfixes regarding the player sanity, door collisions, and the ghosts AI.
In case you feel like it now you can also find a windows export for a better feel of the lighting as well (which was the original intentions but HDR 2D support is not there for the web export).
I liked the art and music and the map is very nice. The mechanics seem a good idea.
But I didn’t like how easy is to be cornered. And I could not get my health bar to go down, so I do not understand the point of my lights. It seems the ghosts are only there to annoy you.
Good job nevertheless, I feel like I would love this game with some tweaks.

We appreciate your feedback this was our first gamejam ever :) , unfortunately there were some game breaking issuing we found after managing to upload a web export but we managed to upload some bugfixes in order to make it playable again. Also there is a windows export with the intended lighting system (using HDR 2D, which is not supported on the web :( ).
I couldn’t figure out how to get out. I got the key and went to what I thought was the door but nothing happened.
Just left the red light on the whole time since there was no downside.
You can get corners by 3 ghosts and then there’s nothing you can do because you’re stuck.
Nice graphics and map. Cute music though it doesn’t repeat once it’s done.

It's true that there were some game breaking issues regarding the ghost AI and the player-sanity for death as well as the door collisions and the win screen.
If you do find a couple of minutes we managed to update some of those bugs and also have uploaded a second export for windows which has the original lighting system with HDR 2D (which unfortunately is not supported on web export and ends up looking way more brighter than intended)
I gave it another try and was able to finish the game!
Unfortunately the download version didn’t work for me. It complained about a PCK file missing.
Cool idea.
Would be good to put the controls in the game somewhere.
I couldn't figure out how to get out of the castle. I got the key but I wasn't sure what it opened. I think I tried everything. It also didn't seem like the ghosts affected your sanity at all, but they did chase me.
Wasn't sure what the point of being able to turn of the red lantern was. Toggling it seems superfluous. Without it on you can't see the ghosts and they just block you.
