It's very atmospheric! I love the controls and graphics. Although that pixelated filter does make it a bit hard to find resources. I see you're aware of the fire glitch so I'm curious to see how the game progresses. Good job everyone!!!
quick update: The updated version is online in case you want to test it ;)
Very interesting game. I loved the way the game got more pixelated as the sanity bar went down. I played a few times and could not find a second rock, so I wasn't able to build anything. I did not expect to see a survival crafting game in the jam, so this was really cool!
Amazing game idea. different perspective but suits the theme very well. I like how the world gets pixelated over time a unique mechanics. I liked the visuals and sound, makes the game atmosphere very intense. Very well put together game. Good Job
Very cool game idea, the ambience with the eerie but beautiful soundtrack coupled with retro pixelated 3d models It's retro-looking vibe adds alot to the uncanniness of this island... I could only get to setting up the shelter but could never set up the fire as it said "You need 0 more stones" even though I had 3 in my inventory! I really would like to give this game another try when the sticks and stones become easier to find!
Again, very cool ambiance, hope to see more from you guys! :D
Thank you!
I will post a quick update once a fixed version is up :)
I’m glad you enjoyed the soundtrack :-) I put it up on Bandcamp too: https://polymonic.bandcamp.com/album/sticks-stones

Super cool atmosphere. And a very creative way to use pixelate shader. I only realized it happening on 3rd day, very subtle at first. I loved it!
This one has a very cool vibe to it. The simple art and the varying degrees of pixelization of it throughout make for a really unique feel.
I feel like the camera felt a bit weird, although that might just be a me issue because I don't really play this sort of game a lot. I also found it very difficult to find enough stones and rocks to build anything, and if I did, I found it even harder to find my way back to where I could build stuff.
That said, I'm definitely intrigued, and the game does feel very cool. Curious if you have plans to expand on this? Either way, great work!
Thanks for the feedback!
In terms of the items - this is mostly due to the bug that does not correctly spawns these items.
I fixed some of the bugs already, so the gameplay works better (will upload this after the voting period ends), but there are no plans to continue working on more content, at the moment.

A true experience, I was glued to the edge of my seat anticipating horrifying things, the game's atmosphere is very well achieved, and although the graphics are simple, they are the kind I personally enjoy. If you composed the music, congrats because I loved it. The game doesn't have a clear mecanic, but it doesn't need to! It's enough for it to convey something. Great work!
Thanks a lot! Cool to hear that you've liked the assets. And yes, the music was done by our composer, check out the credits ;) In terms of game mechanics, I guess in this case it is part of the game to figure these out
Thank you so much for you comment on the music!
Nice 3D pixel, is it getting blurrier as my sanity gets lower? Nice music, it definitely made me nervous lol. I wish sticks and stones are easier to find.
Thanks for playing!
Yes, the game gets more pixelated over time. We did not have enough time for balancing in the end, sorry for making the items so hard to get.
Thank you for the music compliment!
