Can't believe that this game was made in this short period of time! The combat system is really good, the forge mechanic is unique, UI is responsive and intuitive and finally, the art... There is nothing to complain about it! Great job

Thanks for playing! It took a lot of effort to make, so I'm glad it paid off in the end!

I was really excited to try this one after seeing the WIP in the server. Well done, I enjoyed it, and I think it has a fantastic difficulty curve. Definitely have to agree with others here that the art is really charming, and the audio makes it all that much better.

Developer

I feel the game may be a bit too hard, so I'm glad you enjoyed the difficulty curve. Thanks for playing and for the feedback!

Developer

Really like the look and feel of the game. I didn't understand what the anvil did, and it constantly just felt like I didn't have many trinkets available. Which meant I was pretty much just always using all of them, so not much choice to be had. Very much felt like I was missing something about how the game was meant to be played.

Totally awesome submission though and the kind of thing I can see myself coming back to play more!

You can press the big button over the anvil to get some explanations on the mechanics, such as how the anvil works. The game gives you plenty of trinkets, but you have to use them conservatively. For example, if the enemy will die with only 1 trinket equipped, it's better to unequip all others so you'll conserve charges on them. It might take a little practice though! Also be sure to read the enemy passives, because some of them will take charges from your trinkets. Thanks for playing !

ah! I was definitely not managing the consumption of charges. Thanks!

Played again today and payed more attention to the information from the ? button. I must have clicked too quickly or something last time, or was just to tired, because I definetly missed some of that information! Entierly my bad though.

Congrats on such a well put together and polished game!

Developer

Thanks for giving it another chance! Glad you enjoyed it!

Fun game! I really enjoyed the art style, and I kept coming back to check the sneak peaks you were putting in the server. Great job

Developer

Thanks for playing! I really enjoy sharing the progress, glad to know people were following it too.

This was such a fun play, the art/gui is phenomenal and it was so much fun, fr 🎉  Also it's the first game I've tried to run where the web version didn't bug out on my mac (ours included) so that's also terrific.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Nice to hear about it working nicely on mac. Unfortunately I have no access to one for testing, so I got lucky I guess :)

This game is wonderful the art and animation are so fluid, teach me your ways. The music is also really nice the game is still fantastic, hard to imagine you made this in only 9 days.

Developer

Thanks so much! It's a combination of quite a bit of jam experience and spending an unhealthy amount of time on the project hahaha. Glad you enjoyed it.
