Adorable little game, easy to play...and I managed to break the living daylights out of it :P  I somehow spawned multiple anvils with constantly bouncing meters, and at some point noticed my health was in the negative and descending endlessly.  I don't know what I did to your wonderful little game, but I'm sorry.  Super-catchy bgm, and the game itself was fun to run around in.  Thanks for giving me something to play!

It took me a while to get the hang of how the anvil works, but this is a fun little game.

I like the idea of your game, it has a lot of potential to develop further. I wished for some feedback (visually or auditory) when the character gets hit. The music is great and fits the vibe of your game. I also liked the character design :)

The idea is interesting, I always welcome variations on the survivors new genre

Fun game! I really enjoy roguelites and the added effect of being able to deal damage with the anvil after upgrading was a really cool idea.

Love it!

Hi there! I liked that the drops "magnets" to you! If you keep building on the game, you can also add things like "hit feedback" to indicate that the player/monsters have been hit!

Also, I'm not 100% sure, but I think the next time you embed a game on itch, under you page settings, try looking for.

"Viewport dimensions" should allow you to manually set size!!

I really enjoyed the twists you made on the VS formula - making levelling up something that makes you vulnerable creates some interesting decisions, and I liked the dual-purpose design with making the anvil a weapon, too! The little hammering minigame also added some nice tension to those moments. I wish there had been an end state though, as it makes it less fun when you have to manually restart when you notice you died! Also I think there could be some more feedback when you gain enough exp for the next level. Good game and concept!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Cool game! Loved the idea of throwing your upgrade station at enemies, and hammering the anvil to upgrade while you're getting swarmed is a really cool touch. I was also really getting into the song so it took me a while to notice I was long dead, fun nonetheless. Nice job!

Thank you! I'm glad you like the pressure while playing the mini-game. When I was talking about the idea with some folks, there was some worry about it being a little annoying. Also, definitely totally didn't forget about an end condition until 5 minutes before the end haha. So I'm glad the music can serve as a distraction from that.

A cool take on the Vampire Survivor "genre". Being able to interact and attack the enemies yourself in addition to the automatic attacks makes you decide on the upgrades if you want to be playing more actively or more AFK depending on what you choose to focus your upgrades on. I also find it clever how you decided to make the anvil both a weapon AND the upgrade station. I did run into some bugs and didn't lose as you pointed out (or maybe I am just that good), but overall a solid foundation for a twist on a classic :D

Yeah I definitely wanted a bit more... engagement? So I'm glad you like that part of it, thank you for playing!
