Great game! It feels really good and is super responsive. The teleport mechanic is incredibly satisfying to use, and unlike most Geometry Dash clones I've seen, the ability to jump and teleport at any time makes the game feel fresh and unique.

I also love the music you’ve chosen and the animated "DNA" background that changes color at different stages of the level. There are a lot of nice details, such as the attempt counter, the small tutorial, the prisms, progress bars, end animation, and the skin reward for completing the level.

The concept of being a CD that plays music and stops when it crashes is quite funny and unique. I can't believe you implemented a practice mode! With so many features, it feels like the game is made for even more levels.

Hey, I loved the game! I'm not usually into visual novels, but this one was a beautiful short experience with a lot of potential for more content. The storytelling is great, with the right music at the right time, and the beautiful art and characters really immersed me in the story. You all did a fantastic job. I can clearly see how much effort you put into this. Congratulations!

Thank you! I'm glad you liked it

Liked a lot the pixel art and funny SFX!

I agree with you that adding some sort of narrative would enhance the experience even further. I'm thinking about something like "Duet" which does that pretty well, and the target audience for the game is almost the same. Great suggestion, I'll definitively keep that in mind for future updates. Thank you so much for the positive feedback and ideas!

Thank you! I would love to publish an improved version of the game in mobile stores!

Thank you! When I first uploaded the game to Itch, it didn't have the obstacles in the easy segments of the level, but then I realized that the player will try to hook the obstacles at a higher score without knowing that they will die. That's why, before the deadline, I uploaded the current version with obstacles in the easy segments, but also keeping these segments easy. I'm happy to know that it worked for you!

Liked the game! Unique interpretation of the theme as far as I know. It's fun to combine both shoots and run with multiple enemies behind you. Reached level 20! And the death font/mask is such a nice detail. Good job guys, you were one of the few teams that made a 3D game.

Such an interesting and unique idea for this game jam! I liked that there are multiple tracks to manage at the same time. Also, the random factor plays well here, that way there isn't any complicated currency in the game and it's easy to understand. At first, it was weird for me that the same card can be used to create, but also to boost, I'm not sure about that design decision, but it's just a detail. Great job!

Thank you envy! I'm happy to know that you are interested in the game, there are lots of things to improve and I have in mind interesting content for future updates as well, so I'll let you know when the update comes. Btw I already played your game and commented too, "Helter Smelter" is such a great game, one of my favorites so far.

You are the first one to talk about the stats, I'm glad that you liked it. Thank you for the positive feedback.

Thank you!

The game is fun and I like the concept of gathering essence from enemies. Art is really good and the Star Wars theme gives this a +1 for me. Also, the lore at the beginning is interesting and adds to the concept and atmosphere of the game. Great job!

Great game! The art, music and SFX are perfect. The event log/tutorial at the bottom-left corner helped me a lot, this way of communicating with the player is different in comparison with other similar games, but I believe that this is the best way!

Wonderful experience for a game jam game! I loved all the dialogues and the different robots. The mechanic is simple, but in combination with the music, dialogues and the details of moving the heads and keeping these for the end of the game makes the game feel super fulfilling. Congratulations! And great job!

I'm glad you found the interpretation of the theme funny! Thank you for the comment

I'm happy to know that you liked the menu-level transition! Thank you for the comment

One of my favorites of the game jam so far! It's fun playing around with the materials and the recipes of each weapon. The art and music are great! I really liked keeping the stuff through the different rounds. There is a lot of attention to detail, even on the main menu with the signature.

I came here because Vindictivity posted some comments in my game that I can't forget! I'm happy to see how well you did it. Congratulations!

Btw pulling that rope was amazing

Great submission! It felt quite complex at first, but I eventually managed to get around it! I liked the 3D, music and environment. The atmosphere of the game is really cool.

Very fun! Music enhances the atmosphere of the game and it feels great! Art and color palette are pleasing to look at, and the game mechanic is very original. Great job!

Can't believe that you had your idea on tuesday and still managed to get the game!

Liked the game! It's interesting to see that the currency of the game is obtained only if you destroy the enemy ships and then collect it, that gives the game something different because you not only have to dodge bullets, but enemies themselves. Good job!

Liked it! The incorporation of the theme is great, and the drawing concept as well. Great job!

Enjoyed it a lot! The color palette, art and overall graphics are amazing. The game is self-explanatory, and simple to play, but still, it can get very difficult! You did a great job, congratulations!

Couldn't agree more with your feedback, and I'm glad to hear that you would play it on mobile! Right now, it's an unknown territory for me, but it seems like I should give it a try. Thanks!

I loved the chilly vibes, with the music and the voice acting. I found the controls and gameplay intuitive enough for the game jam and the hints for the keys with "/" were all I needed to get going. Also, one of the few with enough courage to make it 3D. Great job!

Hey! Thanks for the shoutout, Dennis! Totally onboard with your feedback! So, about the game... I originally planned it for mobile down the line, but I was unsure how exporting to HTML5 would go, and I had concerns about mobile compatibility. That's why the controls in the game jam version lean towards PC. But hey, after exporting the project, I found out it's still playable on mobile too!

By the way, I'm not brave enough to play the game with a touchpad.

Fits perfectly with the game jam theme. I saw a lot of games about forging in a similar manner, but none of these, as far as I know, cared about finding the materials. The exploration alongside the ghosts gives the game a unique twist. I played with controller, as I saw you recommending this in discord and it as a pleasing experience!

Something that I noticed that could be improved, is the tutorial. At first it didn't really understand how the controller and buttons worked. I guess that's complicated since you are supporting keyboard and controller.

Congratulations!

The game fits perfectly with the theme, art-wise is very pleasing, I'm in love with the color palette and controls are nice. Also, the tutorial is self-explanatory. Despite having some bugs, the game is great. Congrats!

Really cool! I liked the mechanic, especially when you can move multiple pieces at once. Perhaps, in case you want to continue the game, you could make a level were moving one piece can affect an already well-placed piece. I feel like there is a lot of room for gameplay here.

Also, the ideal time is perfectly calculated!

Good job!

Happy to hear that! and good luck as well

Unique experience. Short if tiger... but it was fun! There is something about the UI that makes it feel so good, even when you get the deny messages. Good job!

The wall of death was one of the challenges that I didn't manage to get 100% right. The game needed something to push the player upwards, and I decided to add the wall of death, I'm aware that alongside with the random level generation you could get these alignment level segments and perhaps die because of the wall. If you know the wall well enough it's possible to get around that situation, but it increases the learning curve, which is something that shouldn't have a major impact in this game.

Thank you for the positive and critical feedback! I'll keep this in mind for future updates.

Your comment made my day! And it's 10:30 AM in Argentina.

I guess that I'm far from being a professional mobile app developer, but I have quite a lot of experience with games! I'm studying computer science but my main hobby is game development.

I can see that you noticed everything about the details of the game, I really tried to make something simple and polished. Glad you liked the color scheme, music and the feedback of the connections.

The game level is procedurally generated, made up of "LevelSegment" and there are 3 types of level segment: easy, medium and hard. The idea is that the game is built randomly with pre-defined level segments (I guess that there are around 30 level segments). The difficulty of the level is increased by picking more difficult segments, considering its category, but also by moving the obstacles that are contained in each LevelSegment faster. The only parameter for difficulty is the score.

It was quite difficult to ensure that the level progression is fair enough to the player when there are so many different LevelSegments. But still, I think that I managed to get something interesting with the levels!

Can't thank you enough, I'm really trying to become a professional developer in the game industry one day, and your comment tells me that I'm in the right path.

Thank you so much!!!!

Heyy! Don't be ashamed of the "lag issue", suff like that happens all the time, especially when we try to deliver software in a short period of time. I guess that my game also has troubles with the web version in some browsers. It's not a big deal, and I completed the game successfully!

I appreciate the positive and theme related feedback. And I agree that perhaps I put a wild spin on the topic. I've honestly been wanting to do something like this for a long time, but I know this game doesn't stand out in the "theme" category, in fact I'm surprised that your comment is the first to talk about it.

Thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for playing! I spent quite a lot of time trying to make it satisfying and adding obstacles, so I'm glad it paid off in the end!

You got it! I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed the game enough to play it again :)

Thank you! Haven't heard of it. I'll check it out

Sfx, environmental music,  lights and shaders are great and together make an amazing atmosphere. I really enjoyed playing this game! Congratulations
