what a lovely coincidence that you found this jam. I dig the audiovisual aesthetic, it fits the theme really well!
I appreciate the calm exploratory thing you got going on, it goes well with the whole aesthetic of the game. unfortunately I couldn’t figure out where to go after getting the dash — I went all the way to the left, but it seems like I’m missing something to progress that way. I did a few laps of the map without finding any other ways to go, so I’m not sure what I’m supposed to do.
the platforming is very smooth and polished, but the camera could use some work. the main issue is how it jitters — there are multiple solutions to this, but I would recommend looking into “physics interpolation” in Godot 4.3 (or see the lawnjelly smoothing addon for Godot 4.X). also, the camera feels very janky when it tries to focus on something in the world — maybe it would be better if the trigger was more gradual based on the character’s distance to it.
(unrelated, but: I wishlisted Realm Of I, it looks really cool!)
Really good, thumbs up!
Awesome little game you from some shirtless dude~!
The simplicity of the 1bit style of graphic excelled well with all the shaders and FX you got going on. The movement felt crispy too. I'm pretty bad at platformers, and honestly didn't really struggle much with movement (being teleported back to a previous spot right before dying was a nice touch). I liked how it felt kind of like a Metroidvania, when I grabbed the dash powerup, traversing older parts of the environment to reach areas I couldn't reach before felt rewarding. Would be cool to see where you take it if you develop further.

Not bad from some shirtless dude. Graphics are great.
i liked the shaders and how when you die it doesnt waste your time too bad. cool game but i had an issue where it softlocks when i get the dash and when i reloaded it i was only shown a black screen with music. would have loved to see the rest of this game.
Very good use of a 1bit style of pixel art. Also love the filter applied above it all, but that could just be because I really like CRTs for some reason. The controls are solid and using the Great dash felt pretty satisfying. I think the camera being a bit jumpy took away from the experience, but this is still a great game. Also, I fully agree with your notes on Godot :D.
Fun little platformer & cool visual style!
I found the camera shake a little hard to deal with, but overall alot of fun :)
