Nice shooter game! It's a simple idea that was executed well. The controls feel good, and there are a nice variety of enemies. I'm really impressed by how you made all the assets yourself; the art and audio work well together. I appreciate the auto fire, though I think I would have liked to see one or two more kinds of weapons to add some variety in gameplay.

Thanks for the feedback! Much appreciated ;)

Enjoyed this! Did you do the art and music yourself?

I think my only feedback is that I would have personally preferred to see more of the room, which the lighting obscured. Perhaps with more enemies on screen, the room could be more lit?

Great work!

Thanks! Yeah all the assets are original and made by me.

wow, this was a lot of fun! A simple idea executed very well. The controls were smooth and the UI was solid. Loved the lighting effects and the pixel art. The concept of killed enemies leaving behind obstacles is very clever for this theme. Well done!

Thank you!

So many different units coming over time. I'm not sure if I saw them all. Fire-snowman was pretty funny to see. The game is nice looking and it worked flawlessly. Really appreciated the autofire, since it was one less thing to think about. The radial heart meter worked well. It's not something I see often. It didn't obscure, but it was always where I was looking.

Challenging others to beat my totally awesome score:

Thanks! There are currently 5 enemies:

  1. the basic guy
  2. dragon
  3. the golem/tanky dude,
  4. wizard
  5. slug

In terms of the highscore I'm pretty sure mine was 152, so you actually beat me in my own game :D

Fun game! I really liked the enemy variety and the pixel art was great. Good color scheme and use of lighting too. Would be interesting if there was a way to clean up the burning stains somehow (perhaps you have to stop shooting temporarily to clean it up?)

Developer

Thanks! That's a really good suggestion.
