I've been working on Godot for less than two weeks, I don't even know how to do it yet, hehe.

Fun game with nice art. Do the cubes actually do anything? Leveling up felt powerful and you could really kite hordes of monsters around (or stand still until the ranged enemies). Won by countdown.

Developer

Thank you very much! The cubes generate random reactions (lowering the character's level or leveling up, destroying all enemies on the screen, lowering HP to 5 or restoring it completely or nothing happens). I still need to learn how to do continuous damage against the player.

I like the atmosphere of the game. The ghosts are cute :D

Thanx! :D

Beautiful art! I look forward to seeing what you can do as you learn Godot.

Developer

Thanx a Lot! :)

This is a nice hordes survival.
Some more challenge would make it better.

Developer

Thanx for the feedback :)

The game was fun, I beat it with barely any health, and running out the timer rather than beating the boss. The art style was great and I like the little shaking when you defeated an enemy. The hurtboxes for the enemy seems to be misaligned from their collision. I could last half the game standing still surrounded by spawns unable to hurt me until ranged enemies appeared.

Developer

Thank you for playing. I made the enemy's damage box large as if the character could shoot from top to bottom, but the collision box at its base since it is high and the top part doesn't touch anyone. As for damage, I couldn't program continuous damage, so staying still keeps you safe.

Unfortunately I couldn't get the download for this game to work (I'm on mac). It looks like you just uploaded the game folder without properly exporting it. I tried running it in Godot but I couldn't get that to work either, it says you are missing the "project.godot" file. It looks like a good game though, especially if you've only been doing it two weeks!! Congratulations on finishing your first game jam!

Developer

Thank you very much for the feedback. I went to find out how to export the file with 15 minutes for the Jam to finish, so I didn't have time to solve the problems that arose. I will research how to export correctly and upload the files whenever possible.

I did the exact same thing with leaving it until the last 15 minutes and I also ended up having export problems so I know how it feels!!
