Game Description
You have to take control of an old Mech and make it to the extraction zone. To get there you'll have to manage the onboard systems, and figure out how to overcome the obstacles in your path.
How does your game tie into the theme?
Many systems and settings may come with unintended consequences. Be alert and keep monitoring the vehicle's instruments!

Really epic game, with great sound effects. Really liked the camera shake and the stomping legs. Really felt i was in a mech. It was a little bit unclear how i was dying though, because i would suddenly hear a panting noise and I would always lose the game. Amazing job on the game!
This is a standout. I love the tactility, taking a lot of lessions from this one.
Amazing job!
Hi, i liked the sound and camera design, changing with the different movement speeds and RPM of the motor etc. Looked like a "realistic" depiction of an "old" soviet mech ;)
I very much liked the different mechanics switches and system, really well made.
I only had real problems with the turning wheel and mouse usage, usually I was turning in the wrong direction xD and needed to made a full 360°
I think you are somewhat inspired by the bippinbits planetary defence canon game :)
Which is not a problem.
I would love it to be a little bit more accessible, i had big problems with the turning wheel and the weapons "radar" i couldn`t figure out what i would see in there. i would also like to have the primary radar (green) probably double the size.
Other than that, really well made especially all the mechanics and intertwined systems, switching gears and so on. Well done!!!
This is really cool! The stand out for me is definitely the sound design. Hearing the roaring engines and the bipedal legs move is really immersive and a clever way to have movement without seeing the mech move. It is really clever trying to guess how to make this thing work.
Good job on this one!!
I am glad you like it!
I agree, PixelDeep really outdid himself on the audio I think. It was a blast firing up the engine for the first time when we were making it.
Thank for playing!
WOW. Incredible work! An Iron Lung-like in a Submarine? 10/10 idea, 10/10 execution. Reaching the end was very satisfying.
Thank you!
Great job reaching the end, did you find any of the secret shortcuts?
This was made in a week?! The controls, graphics and core mechanics I have to say is superb! I also really love how the controls in the game are actual controls that you have to manually move, it really did make it super immersive, and part of the fun is figuring out what each switch does and how to get the mech to it's destination.
Also not only that, the actual graphics looks really good. The Radar and Sonar(?) gives me Aliens vibes and further gives me the feeling of claustrophobia. That with the sound design of the legs moving, the engine sounds, or the Geiger Counter going off, really ups the immersion for me.
Really impressive!
Yeah, the scope was perhaps a little ambitious. There were many late nights :)
Nice to hear that you liked the hands on controls. Originally we thought having everything labeled in Swedish would be fun.
It's funny, because the reason why we didn't let you see the outside world was because we didn't have time to make one. A side effect, or unintended consequence if you will, is that people use their imagination to create their own. And I really like that.
Thank you for playing the game, and another big thank you for sharing your thoughts on it
Well, I certainly did drive a mech. 😅
Was really fun to fiddle with all the boops and beeps, and movement felt really nice. Really enjoyed it. Great job!
Thank you, and I'm glad you had a good time driving a Mech!
OK, maybe driving is a bit generous. I certainly operated some mech controls!
This is a nice simulator. I felt like I was actually in the mech.
The audio feedback is awesome
Nice job
Thank you for playing! I enjoyed making the audio for this, and I got to try out a few different techniques for playing audio that has a start, a looping middle and an end.
Glad you liked it!
What a journey. Was fun figuring out how the machine worked. Great simulation. Sounds were spot on. So stressful. Unique and well done.
Posting end screenshot because it was hard and I made it. Hen ran the chicken.
It's certainly no small feat to beat the game, and you've got a screenshot to prove it too! Well, you've earned the bragging rights :)
Thank you so much for playing, and I'm really happy you enjoyed it!
Awesome game. Took me a bit to realize you can hold right mouse button to zoom in, but once I did it was a lot of fun.
Thank you! Zooming might make things easier to read and click, especially on smaller screens. Glad you liked it!
The learning curve is very hardcore, but that's part of the fun in this type of game.
To be honest, I didn't manage to do many things, but it was fascinating to explore this machine and try to understand how it works.
Thanks for the experience of failing to drive a Mech!
That should be the tagline of the game "The experience of failing to drive a Mech". I'm glad you liked it!
i adore the premise. iron lung but in a cool ass heavy mecha. my fav part was figuring out the controls and manipulating the machine as best as i could without catastrophe.
I did not know of Iron Lung before but looking at videos, I can definitely see what you mean (and it seems like a cool game that needs checking out). Figuring out the controls and manipulating the machine as best as you can without catastrophe is exactly what the game is about so we're happy that you liked it!
