Game Description
this is kissa's first ever game by herself, you try and help grandpa with his mice problem by clicking on mice as they come, but be wary of the flickering lights, you can only catch mice in the light!

How does your game tie into the theme?
The light in grandpa's shed keep flickering so you need to try and get them while you can still see.

Really cute and fun game!
Yes, it's a fairly quick and simple game, but you both should be proud of yourselves for finishing it from start to end. Congrats!

Warm regards!

Well done for the first entry, very cute way to get rid of mice problems

Good job on your first game! This is a great step forward and awesome to have something to share with others.

Some suggestions I have would be to try to adjust how random you make the mice's movement. The way the moved kept them at the edges, it would be nice if they scurried across the screen. Also, I think it would be nice if the sound played when you click depends on whether you clicked on a mouse or not. A bit of audio feedback on whether you were successful or not.

I am glad to see you got your submission straightened out!

So, I'm going to level with you: I have one of those 'chase the mouse' games for cats on my phone, and my four-month-old kitten loves it. This reminds me of that a lot. I'm not entirely convinced that a cat didn't make this game.

With that admission out of the way --

This is a very simple game, but it is a complete game, and it is very charming. The art is cute and well-drawn, and the gameplay overall seems solid. Obviously there's limited replay value, and I feel like the tie to the theme is a little tenuous, but all-in-all this is a good submission, especially considering it is your first solo project according to your submission info. I hope you keep making games, and I hope we see more submissions from you in future Wild Jams!

I have had mouse problems before, so I connected with the theme immediately. I noticed that sometimes the mice seem to zoom by really fast. I like that there's more than one type of movement to add some variety.

The art is adorable and the music fits the vibe. I wanted there to be different sound effect depending on whether you clicked on a mouse or missed, to make it feel more satisfying when you get one.

Overall it is very playable, with a story motivation, a beginning, a twist with the lights going out, and an ending. Great job on your first solo jam game!
