I thought it was quite good. Looked nice, played nice, and I had fun. Very well done on your first jam, it was mine too :) although not my first game project. It's a lovely small game, which you could defenitely experiement adding a few more gameplay elements if you fancied.
Congrats on your first game jam! I'm terrible at platformers on a keyboard, so I didn't get very far. I gave it a good try though. I didn't notice any freezing when I didn't eat any apples though. Like at the start of the second level. That jump to the tiny platform on the side of the cliff was difficult for me, so I did that circuit over and over before I finally made that jump. It probably took me 2 minutes to make it, and there were no ill-effects from not having eaten an apple in a while.
Well done on finishing your first Jam! Lots of good work to build on for next time!
Thank you, this means a lot to me. It was a great way to start learning game dev馃檶馃徎
Nice game! I managed to beat the whole thing. Even though its your first jam you did great! Keep on practicing!
I'm glad you liked it and I am also glad that everything worked fine馃槄. And thank you very much, it means a lot to me馃檶馃徎
I hope you liked the game, this is my first ever game jam and also my first finished game ever. I worked solo as a newbie game dev with almost 0 experience and I tried my best with public assets which are allowed to be reused. I hope you enjoy the few levels I created!
