I actually really like the way you have to make your own fun in this game, since there's no effective goal, you can just see your highest time and score, but I found it fun to just run around shooting at the snowman, with no real goal but just to feel cool. Its fun, and it reminds me of make-belief games a bunch of us would do as a kid.

The UI in world was great! I had a good time trying to get a perfect run. The hit sfx being so similar to a bell made me keep trying to play "jingle bells" which was fun. Good job!

Great job with the UI is Real part of the theme. Having that built into the world was well done. I was hoping the snowmen would snowballs or something else to make it a bit more interactive. Overall nice job! Ran smoothly on my old PC which was a plus. Lots of 3D game submissions in jams tend to not run well.

Decent first game, it does feel more like a gameplay demonstration than something short and sweet but really admire the effort for making it 3D. I just made my first 3D game for this jam as well and it's no joke. Congrats on your game! (BTW I got a score of 500 in one minute approximately idk how good that is or not.)

Nice first submission! I really liked the looks of snowmen! The ballistics of the shot and aim feel a bit weird, though - it never hits the target, probably because the aim is based on your center, but the firing is based on the gun's position.

Hello! I recently bought an xbox controller to play games with and was so happy to see you have controller support! (I added it to ours also). This was a decent entry with some rough edges that could easily be polished. First I think you need some pulsing game music for when doing the lap. I also think you need some way to see which snowmen you've already hit as you go round. Next there is the controls - the sensitivity was off with the thumbstick for aim so I tending to use the left thumbstick to move into a firing position instead.

Anyway, despite the rough parts, the fact you delivered all this on your own in your first GWJ  is _very_ impressive - my first attempt was not up to this standard!

Nice, effort! Desperately needs a setting to adjust the mouse sensitivity.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm pretty new and UI/Menus is something I need to learn about.

I love how the gun sounds like an actual gun even though it's shooting nerf darts.

Anyway, the scoring for repeating hits on the snowmen are a bit weird. In theory, you should go around shooting each snowman in the head as fast as possible for the highest score, and thus the game rewards you for being as accurate as possible while being fast. But in practice, it's pretty hard to get all 15 points from a snowman while on the move, so the fastest way to get the most points possible is to just walk up to every snowman and shoot it repeatedly.

Or at least in my experience. By doing the above method, I was able to score 555 points (probably most of the snowmen, if not all) in 1 minute and 43 seconds. You may be able to get it faster if you're a god at first-person shooters though - keep in mind that my time also includes the time I wasted shooting snowmen that I had already hit.
