Godot 4.3

Wildcards Used
all three, I have a dice, eating your cult members is meant to lower moral but make you stronger, and I have the cosmic shop button, but it doesn't do anything yet as I ran out of time

Game Description
Super not finished but you are the leader of a cult, it was meant to be a survival game where the cult can automatically heal, work, and feed you but when danger approaches you might need a bit more energy and the cult is more than happy to oblige

How does your game tie into the theme?
You are changing the form of cult members, using them like food to make yourself big

So cool!

Looks like a good start! I see it's your second submission and the first one you ran out of time. Don't worry about it! This is my 4th submission to GWJ, but that's not counting the 4 or 5 that I started and didn't bother finishing because I didn't think they were finished enough. I think this is a solid effort and I'm looking forward to what you'll put out next time you submit!

Thank you so much for the kind comment (I didn't realize there were comments until now ๐Ÿ˜…)

I'm very excited for the next jam! I just finished the GGJ and while our team didn't have the easiest start we still managed to pull out a finished game ๐Ÿ˜€

I will go back and properly review both projects and assess where I can improve.
As a little rundown on my WildJam entry, I decided to implement GOAP (Goal-Oriented Action Planning) for my little NPCS.
I don't think it was a bad idea but I should have pivoted to a simpler FSM so I could finish the gameplay

It's a shame it's unfinished, moving around feels pretty good and the animations are lovely. Of course there's not much of a game, but it looked like it was going somewhere good

I'm with you here 100%. I really like the animations, the powerful stop and go of the animations creates a really nice effect!

I wholeheartedly agree, i'm really interseted to see if this gets continued after the jam

Thank you so much for the kind words ๐Ÿ’– (I didn't realize there were comments until now ๐Ÿ˜…)
I already said it in another comment but I should have pivoted from trying to implement GOAP (Goal-Oriented Action Planning) for my little NPCS.  I don't think it was a bad idea but I should have pivoted to a simpler FSM so I could finish the gameplay
