Game Description
Meet a condescending, evolving game in a (mostly) narrative experience that morphs into mini-games
How does your game tie into the theme?
The game is the one metamorphosing into a higher, better, stronger, (Ok and arroganter) being.

Nice game! I was hooked from the beginning, but it felt a bit slow at times—it took too long to complete small actions. Maybe adding a skip button to auto-complete text or buttons to select inputs would help. Having to type fixed inputs breaks the immersion a little.
That said, itβs a great submission! Amazing work with the tic-tac-toe—I was surprised to find one here. Text-based games are always hard and time-consuming to make, so kudos to you for pulling it off!
I learned that the hard way! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Good job on your first GWJ Submission. I like how theme is implemented here but I would talk about some stuff I would've added: First of all, at the text-based part, at the start, some CRT/Computer sound and CRT Shader would've been nice. You can find those on Godot Shaders and they aren't hard to implement. Also for sound, some sound when letters show up would've been nice.
Again, good job on the first submission
Thanks for the constructive criticism. Much appreciated!
Audio would bring this game up quite a bit
Very nice job for first project in Godot
Thanks, the feedback is much appreciated π
Hey, nice one!! I love the reference to old text-based games with the first two minigames! The AI's snarky comments on your choices are both funny and enough to make you really want to prove it's underestimating you. Definitely a character that's fun to butt heads with xD I'll definitely be back if you decide to finish this little adventure, I'd love to see where all this is going!
Congrats on your first Godot Wild Jam :)
Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you enjoyed my first adventure into Godot π
I really liked the writing! I was nervous I'd lose at tic-tac-toe to the AI but I squeaked out a draw. The transition to the shooting mini-game was also cool.
thanks! I appreciate the kind words!
I'd love an option to speed up the text.
Originally I had the idea that there would be choices/upgrades sprinkled throughout, where one of them was to speed up the text/game. I couldn't deliver it in time unfortunately.
Great work ! π
The game would definitely gain a lot from adding sounds
Agreed! I had to cut it due to time limitations unfortunately.
Cool little game. The idea of the game metamorphosing is interesting π
The biggest problem I faced was the lack of sound effects, paired with the wall of text at the beginning, it is a bit difficult to stay engaged.
Other than that, solid entry. Keep it up ππ
That makes sense.
Thanks for playing and the feedback π!
