Thank you so much for playing!!! πŸ˜„

Really glad to hear your experience with game. Having the player try out crazy things was my intension while making the game so I'm really happy it came through. Making creatures with more than one head is my favorite thing to do as well haha. Seeing the different heads fight for the food and battle to go in different directions is fun πŸ€£

Thanks again for the feedback, really appreciate it!

The art style is brilliant! This game made me feel quite nostalgic, even though I didn't own a tomagatchi myself, I've seen and heard a lot about them when I was a kid. The music was wonderful too!

My only issue was that it got quite repetitive after a while.

Other than that, great work!

Really fun little game with a lot of charm! Really liked the statues presenting the animal's soul. The music was really nice and calming too. πŸ˜Š

I think the ability to swap between the animals at any given time is also pretty fun. Solid entry, keep up the good work πŸ˜„πŸ‘

(1 edit)

The theme implementation is genius! Very original take on metamorphosis. The gameplay was fun and satisfying. πŸ˜„

I had a bit of a difficult time with the areas that required the dash, it felt like I had to be super precise.

Other than that, incredible entry! Keep up the great work! πŸ‘

Thank you so much! That means a lot coming from you, your game was my  personal favorite in this game jam! πŸ˜ƒ

Really glad you enjoyed my game despite it not being your usual type. I definitely agree there isn't a whole lot to do at the moment. I wish to add more different body parts and different affect how the creature behaves in the future. πŸ‘

I love this game!!! Simple but addicting game loop, couldn't help but play the entire game. This is a great example of not needing a massive game for it to be fun. The sound effects were really nice too. πŸ˜

The only thing I felt lacking was that there is no music.

But other than that, great entry for your first ever jam. Keep up the great work, would love to see what you make in the future! πŸ‘

Love the sound design! This game has a very enticing gameplay too! I found myself playing over and over to get a better score! πŸ˜ƒ

Only small problem I had was missing the tadpoles often. It could just be me being absolutely terrible at rhythm games but sometimes I felt that I should have gotten the hit but missed. Maybe a bigger hitbox would help?

Other than that, very solid entry! Had a lot of fun, keep up the good work! πŸ˜„

Thank you so much!!! πŸ˜Ž

Very happy to hear you enjoyed the game! Means a lot to me that you spent time on the game haha, I initially had my doubts on whether people would play it more than 2 minutes πŸ˜…

Thank you very much for playing!!! πŸ˜„

I definitely should have added a way for the player to adjust the volume of the sound πŸ˜“
Auto-rotate is an awesome idea to add too,  I can completely understand how having to rotate parts like the legs would become annoying after a while.

Thanks a bunch for the feedback! I will definitely get to adding volume controls and balance out the loudness of the buttons after the voting period ends πŸ‘

Thank you so much for playing!!! πŸ˜Ž

Really glad you like the game. I'll definitely work on fleshing out the game more after the voting period  πŸ‘
I honestly was planning to have multiple parts when I started work on the game but towards the end I realized I didn't have enough time πŸ˜…

It means a lot that you saw potential for growth. Thanks a bunch πŸ˜Š

Thank you so much for trying out the game :D
Glad you like it πŸ˜ƒ

Thank you very much for playing! πŸ˜Ž

The physics system definitely has a lot of scuffed bugs since I rushed to put it together.  Sorry for the inconvenience πŸ˜ž
I will try to fix it after the voting period πŸ˜„

Glad you like the art style! That means a lot!

This game has so much charm and style it's awesome! Mysterious lore that was interesting and I totally DID NOT try to skip it and get yelled at. πŸ˜ƒ

The controls were my only issue with the game sadly. Using O R K A to move the fishie made it difficult to reach for the other keys (Space, P, ;). Once I got a hang of it, it become quite fun though πŸ‘

Other than that, it's an awesome game. Keep up the good work!

Ah, got it.  πŸ˜Š Honestly, the fact that I wanted to jump right back in says a lot about how fun the game is. Keep up the great work!

This game was extremely fun πŸ˜

Throughout the playthrough, I had big smile on my face. Great game.

I wish there was more of a reward for choosing a good suitable outfit though, maybe like unlocking more outfits?

Other than, incredible entry. Had a lot of fun πŸ˜Ž

Awesome game! This game has a lot of style and charm. Loved the lore and gameplay, felt badass haha. πŸ˜ƒ

The only problem I had was being unable to restart after I died.

Other than that, incredible work, keep it up! πŸ˜Ž

Great game! The art style was epic and the platforming was fun and engaging.  πŸ˜Ž

I'm not sure if it was the vibe you were going for but this game reminded me of the 2D flash games I used to play as a kid. This game made me feel nostalgic and it's awesome.

I was a bit frustrated at the wall jumping section though, I couldn't get the hang of it for a bit but I eventually managed to get it :D

Well done, solid entry. Keep up the good work πŸ˜ƒ

Cool little game. The idea of the game metamorphosing is interesting πŸ˜ƒ

The biggest problem I faced was the lack of sound effects, paired with the wall of text at the beginning, it is a bit difficult to stay engaged.

Other than that, solid entry. Keep it up πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

This is a great little stat management game. It's got a pretty fun gameplay loop and the UI was very well polished.  πŸ˜Ž

On the other hand, I felt like the connection to the theme was a bit low and some feedback would have been nice when the customer accepts your offer πŸ˜„

Solid game, keep it up!

Really fun game loop! I could play this sort of game for hours. πŸ˜ƒ

The dice mechanic was simple but clever!

I felt like the theme incorporation could have been better. Maybe a bit more variation in how the zombies look and behave could change as the game progresses?

Great work and keep it up. πŸ˜Ž

Thank you very much for playing :D

This.

This.

This is the type of game I play in my dreams at 1:20AM.

Peak fiction, incredible game. That is all there is to say. πŸ˜Ž

Where do I even start? This game is awesome! The shooting feels satisfying and fun, mixed in with the mysterious story, such a surreal vibe. πŸ˜Ž

I found it difficult to find the enemies in the level since they only show up when you are super close to them. Though it makes the gameplay more intense, there were times where I would wander around trying to find the last enemy and run out of time.

It's fun to see ideas that are not about evolving animals πŸ˜…
Great game! Love the art style and music, slashing shapes feel fun and the machine instantly pressing on the working area when you fit the shapes properly is rewarding.

Would have been cool if there was a web build though :(

Great work! Genius naming too!πŸ˜„ This game definitely has a certain charm to it. Feels nostalgic and cozy.

The only criticism I have is regarding the inconsistency of the UI, and lack of instant reward. It would have been nice to see signs of metamorphosis a little early on.

Other than that, great workπŸ‘This is definitely a type of game I love playing, If you iron out the bugs and polish it a bit more, it would be epic.

Incredible game! Love the art style, love the music, love the polish. This game really reminded me of the emersion and coziness I get from playing Hollow Knight.

Great game with a lot charm and polish! πŸ˜Ž

The only small issue for me was that, it was not immediately apparent that there was more to the game than that first starting circle. Some way to indicate that the player is making progress towards something would be nice πŸ˜ƒ

Thanks a bunch!! πŸ˜ƒ

I agree the controls were quite unintuitive, and that is a great idea! Using Q, W, E to change parts, I would have never thought about that. Genius idea really. Will implement that after the voting period πŸ‘

Thank you so much!

Haha yeah I had quite a few turn into particle accelerators while testing too πŸ˜…
Honestly, I have no idea how to fix it (yet) so I might leave it in as a quirky "feature"

Thank you!!!  πŸ˜ƒ

Thank you very much! πŸ˜ƒ

I 100% agree with your feedback about the tutorial, I started quite late with the game so I didn't have time to implement it any better.
I will definitely implement that after the voting period ends! πŸ‘

Wiggly Sim is a sandbox creature building and simulation game where you can build a critter and see it evolve!

This is a little game I made for the Godot Wild Jam #77.

Please check out the game here!

I finally finished a game after a really long time. This is a fresh new start for me. It would be incredible if you could check it out and maybe even provide some feedback.
