The way the upgrade system with the centipede body evolved really grew on me, It adds a great level of strategy. One thing I wasn't sure about, was there a health bar? I didnt notice it so I felt a little unsure when I was gonna die. But all said, love this one, great job!

This is a nice take on old classics. A little background music and sound effects to provide feedback would go a long way. Still was fun to play and see the various upgrades. Well done!

Very smooth and direct to the point. It took me some time to understand the "replacement" mechanic, but after that it got quite intense! Maybe I would have liked the enemies to be also some type of insect?

Yeah, I wanted to make the enemies insects but it wasn’t a priority, will do it on a future update :D

Very pleasant game ! The movement is quite smooth; the weight of your character works well, and the different upgrades are fun to try out.

This was a fun little game, with nice clean movement and art. I would have liked a little more feedback on when I was replacing one segment's powers with a new segment (I was confused by that), and some more options for weapons would be nice.

I agree with other posters that any audio might be nice (I can recommend the rfxgen tool for crafting some appropriate sounds for arcade style games).

I encountered a bug (no pun intended) after I died and started a second run in that the first wave of enemies never ended after the last enemy was slain.

True, extra feedback on that interface seems necessary given that replacing isn’t usual for this kind of game. I’ll also try out rfxgen, thanks for the pointer. 🐛🔨😐

Very nice concept. I felt the balance was a little off, I think should just get a new segment every turn instead of replacing old. Or add pickups for segments like snake.

Yeah i agree, thanks for the feedback. A new segment every wave would be far too much though. Getting one every ~2 waves was snowballing so I reduced how often you get one near the end of the deadline, then got distracted with making particles, forgot to test it and it was more impactful than planned :/

Very nice game, a good variety of enemies and power ups. I like the way the centipede moves, also the UI of the power ups is very clean. 

I wish we could chose where we put the weapons, what to trade.

Thanks for the feedback.
My goal was for the game to be more chaotic and for the centipede to constantly change. Choosing where to place weapons didn't align with it.
