Good work on getting this amount done to be honest, a card battler sounds simple in concept but when making a digital version of it, it's a big beast, especially adding enemy AI that is a bit smarter than just "Pick card at random".

I like the art of the little dudes on the cards, they're all distinct yet follow the same style and I think that's very important for a game like this.  Also it seems the main game loop is in place, so it's just a matter of having more time to add more content :)

Thank you! right now it is playing the card with the highest attack power.  I have some ideas on how  I am going to make it more complex. I am going to continue to develop this game I think it has some potential to be fun.

Nice effort, looks like the core is there! I'm sure it would be an exciting project to keep working on. The card animations are really nice and everything flows cleanly.

Thanks, it was fun figuring out how to animate the cards.

Nice foundation for a card game, quite brave to try to do something that big giving the timing of the jam, well done for a nice base :)

Developer

Thanks, I think I am going to keep developing this game.

It was a brave choice to go with a card game, giving the timing of the game jam.

Props to you for committing to it !

I tried my best, I think I am going to keep developing it. It honestly works much better when I run it off Godot. Thanks for playing it. This was also my first game jam that I made something playable... kinda.

I overscoped my self so hard on a 9 day jam.
