Hello there, thank you for submitting this game so we could play it! I really enjoyed the concept of the game and the controls were very smooth! I think the game could have benefitted from a way to regain energy because I spent more time memorizing what was in each room to be able to get a good route than enjoying being able to run around and look for the beans. I loved the victory animation at the end. Thanks!

It seems basically impossible without getting a lucky lightning bolt spawn, and even then the timing is nearly impossible? I dunno, didn't have a good time with it. I like the concept but it was just way too punishing. I think it's super cool to do multiple jams at once if you can swing it, but in this case I'm not sure you succeeded at the enhance theme, although it's less of a stretch than the new start/leave me alone which are only present because of a couple words of text. I like the choice of music for this and think everything seemed to function well, so congrats on that end :) just needed to be a tad bit more forgiving I think - i was able to collect 5 beans a couple times, but was hopeless at finding the exit.

If you would like to try it again, then here are few tips (spoiler alert for others)
- Try to find the lightning bolt first that enhances your speed (also this part covers the theme for this jam), this is the only way you can win
- The lightning bolt spawns in a random place, but the beans are always located in the same place, so memorize them and collect them after you collect the lightning bolt
- Also try to remember the pattern in which you collect them, to see which one actually works
- To find the beanstalk, try to see if you can see an extra green light in one of the rooms. The beanstalk will be there, and again it will always be in the same room.
Don't forget to watch the cutscene at the end of the game 🙂 and don't expect much, I made the game in just 3 hours 😜
I did actually figure out the first three tips, which is what I meant by feeling like the game requires you to get lucky with the lightning bolt. I appreciate you sharing the tips :) I think the one thing I missed logically was not realizing the beans and bolts wouldn't possibly be in the same room. Since you took the time to give me tips I went back and was able to finish it in just a few tries, though I maintain it's still only possible if you get the lightning bolt quick enough. The ending was very cute!
I also for sure forgot this was just a 3 hour project (definitely impressive!) and think my first comment probably reads as overly negative and for that I'm sorry. As I said I do think this is a solid experience that just could be a little easier :)

Gameplay
Speed runner type of game. Looking around carefully where the beans are and the lightning bolt to reach the goal. I was often just too late for the last one. But you keep trying anyway 😉.
Graphics
Clear graphics. Simple shapes and cubes. Would be nice to have some extra shapes, models, obstacles in the environment. Maybe in an update.
Audio
The main soundtrack was quiet, needed to turn up the volume a lot. But a simple nice audio track. Sfx were simple to but present. Maybe give some speed sound when you walk..and a boost speed sfx when you have the lightning bolt to give it some extra polish in an update.
Theme
Wasn't very present except for the speed enhancement.
Devlog
Nice that there was a devlog. A tiny one, but it did give some extra info.
Overall nice little game and you did manage to incorporate the different themes from the different jams.
