Hi there! Thank you for making this game for us to play. I enjoyed the concept of playing the same level but with a different skill each time allowing you to access a different hidden portion of the level. I encountered a bug where my cursor wasn't hidden when playing the level so while moving around the level I was seeing my cursor move.

I think the game was a little simplistic, but a solid start to something bigger. Thank you!

Hi there! I enjoyed playing your game though I will say it was more difficult than I expected. I felt like this game had a lot of personality and I enjoyed finding the smiley face off to the left. The space bar jumping forward definitely threw me off and led me to a few unintentional deaths before getting the hand of it and the movement animations tending to bob the character up and down quite a bit and could be hard follow. Ultimately it was a difficult but fun game with a lot of personality. Thank you!

Hi there! I enjoyed playing your game and thought that it was a fun experience. I think the game could have benefited from a Game Over screen showing how long you survived/how many coins you collected rather than just dropping you straight into a replay.

I have a lot of fun playing this game! I am a big fan of platformers and thought it was executed very well! The only thing I would have done different was included something in game to let the player know what actions they had unlocked. After the 3rd star it took me a bit to figure out I could now jump while sliding on walls. Also, after unlocking the wall slide jump I was able to get to the heart before collecting all of the stars by just jumping up the wall in front of it until I went over.

All in all I really enjoyed playing it and thank you for making it!

Hi there! Thank you for making this game and submitting it so we could play it. I enjoyed the music/sound effects for the game a lot! I thought it was a cool concept, but I felt the gameplay was geared too much toward mobile to where it was very difficult to play on PC.

I love the originality of your idea! I will say it is not my type of game to play solo but I was able to put my D&D DM hat on a little bit and imagine this more as a one-shot experience for some of my players and I thought it was really cool the way it walked through everything. I enjoyed reading through your ideas and agree with GoedWare, I would love to see a game adaptation.

Thanks for putting this out here so we could play it! Super impressive for 3 hours of work! There were bugs here and there but all in all pretty solid little game for only 3 hours. Congrats!

Hi there! Thank you for making this game so we could play it! I enjoyed the concept behind it and thought it was a fun shooter game! I encountered a couple bugs with the movement (character getting stuck or not registering input), but still thought it was a nice game. Thank you!

Thanks for making and sharing this game! I enjoyed playing this game and really liked that there was dialogue and interesting mechanics with the essence. I had a hard time with the enemies (specifically the machine guns) because though their visual particles would collide with things on the landscape the shots would still register no matter if I was hiding behind a pillar or the ship so there was no way to take cover or evade once the machine guns got triggered.

I really enjoyed the visuals, audio, and all around vibe of the game. Was definitely fun to play!

Hello there, thank you for submitting this game so we could play it! I really enjoyed the concept of the game and the controls were very smooth! I think the game could have benefitted from a way to regain energy because I spent more time memorizing what was in each room to be able to get a good route than enjoying being able to run around and look for the beans. I loved the victory animation at the end. Thanks!

Thank you for putting this game out here so we could play it! Let me start by saying I loved your DevLog and being able to follow through not only some of the steps you took, but also your thought process (great job on a first solo entry!). I enjoyed the simplicity of the game and my only major complaint is that, since it was in a web page, when I used the arrow keys to move the character my screen would also scroll. I would recommend using WASD to move the character and the left and right arrows to rotate where the character is shooting. Thank you!

Hi there! Thank you for putting this game out here for us to be able to play. I really enjoyed the take on Hell's Kitchen; I thought it was original and fun. I had some trouble with the timing/button input either not registering or having a very small window for "hitting" the food items.

Thank you for submitting this game! I enjoyed playing it and really enjoyed the music/sound effects. I would have really liked a How-To/Controls in the game so I would have known what different actions I had while playing.

Hi there! Thank you for putting this game out there. I enjoyed the mechanics and I loved the visuals and different animations on the enemies. Unfortunately I repeatedly encountered an issue where the game would register that there were still 2 enemies alive making it impossible for me to progress to the next level (I was playing A1.6). I would have really liked an increase to the money as enemies were killed rather than just at the end of each level so that I could have upgraded or built new towers during the levels. Overall a solid and fun tower defense game!

Thank you for putting you game out there! I will say I had a hard time getting was the point of the game was and run into a bug where when I got the game over screen the retry button didn't do anything and I had to close the game and relaunch it in order to start over. I thought the game looked really good! I also liked that you included sound effects for walking. Thanks!

Hi there! Sorry my life has been unexpectedly busy this week. I promise I will do my best to check your game out today. Sorry for the delay and thank you again for taking the time to play and rate my game.

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback and taking the time to play my game!

The right-click to move the camera was something that I originally implemented when I was planning on a more top down view of the world and then changed my mind, but forgot to go back and change the input on the camera movement.

I had an absolute blast building the game for this Jam and really appreciate you taking the time to play it and give me so much constructive feedback.

Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to play my game!

Thank you for playing my game! It is definitely a bug that I have encountered myself now that I have replayed through the game.

Thank you for the info! I will play around with it on my computer and see if I can trigger the same bug.

I thought this game was super fun and I really enjoyed the idea of improving both yourself and the enemies as you went. I stopped playing after round 20 because the rounds started to feel a little repetitive and not terribly challenging, but that is just my personal opinion so you didn't lose any points from me there. I occasionally encountered a minor bug where one of the enemies would get into the top wall area and my bullets wouldn't reach them. My only major gripe was the hit/kill effect on the screen. Personally, I thought it was cool but a little too strong especially in the later levels when you have more bullets and enemies. It was a bit disorienting and I often lost track of the player character.

All in all I enjoyed the game and will probably play it again. Thank you for making it and thank you for putting it our here so I could enjoy it!

I really enjoyed this one! Was a blast to play, although I encountered a frequent bug of getting stuck inside of the rolling enemies and even respawning inside of them when I died so I automatically died on respawn and had to start the game over. I loved the visuals and design for each of the levels. Thank you for making this game I had it was a lot of fun to play!

Thank you for playing my game and thank you for leaving feedback! If you have time--and are willing--I would love a more detailed description of the bug you encountered so I can try to squash it for outside of the Game Jam.

Thank you!

Thank you so much for playing my game and for all of the feedback! I agree that the movement speed was kind of slow and is something I will fix if I continue to work on the game. When I first started working on the game the plan was to have a larger separate area for each gem and allow the player to pick a weapon/boost they preferred to play through each area. When I started running low on time and downsized the game I didn't go back and change the mechanic to stacking the boosts which would have probably made more sense for the size of the game.

Anyway, Thank you again for playing my game and leaving the feedback!

Love love loved this game! Thank you for making it!

I absolutely loved playing this game! Thank you for submitting it! There was one spot on the 3rd level where the green cube would get stuck in on of the lift spaces (so you could jump on it) that wasn't actually there which made me have to restart the level a few times, but that is a small bug. I really enjoyed the animation, sounds, and feel of the game overall! The camera could be a little jarring at times, but truly a really solid game. Thank you!

Hi there! I really liked the simplicity and concept behind this game. I also think that the UI screens looked pretty sharp and liked the functionality.

I had a couple issues and couldn't get the audio or pause menu to work. Also, the colliders don't seem to quite line up  as the game kept ending when I got too close to an steroid even if I didn't actually hit it.

I am not quite sure how the "Enhance" theme fits in and I think the game would have benefited from something showing what the controls are rather than having to press buttons until something worked and a way to return to the start menu on death rather than retry being the only option.

Thank you for submitting your game! I am glad that I had the opportunity to play it!
