A commendable game jam adventures ๐ฎ๐.
GAMEPLAY
For a first jam game, this entry presents a nice concept accompanied by 3D graphics. However, it could benefit from more detailed explanations regarding the characters' roles and interactions, as the current setup may lead to a bit of guesswork and swapping. A notable issue is the continuous running of characters even after some have died, which maybe can be fixed in future iterations. Although the theme may not be strongly evident, the game still offers a fun experience, showcasing a good foundation for further development.
ART STYLE / VISUALS
The 3D graphics provide a visually pleasing experience, creating an engaging environment for players to explore. There's a potential to enhance the player's connection to the characters with more distinct visual cues or animations.
AUDIO / SOUND DESIGN
Sound/audio was basic & good.
THEME
Could have been more...
In conclusion, this game marks a promising start for the game jam journey. Keep it going for the next one! You always learn from jam games! ๐ฎ๐.
I like the game. Took me a while to figure out speed beats laser wall, strength beats turrests etc
Thank you!
Nice game, but it was very hard to play.
Good job, especially considering this is your first game jam game :D
Thank you! I wanted to make it a bit more challenging to make hope it wasn't too hard :)
Great work for your first game - here's some feedback:
- make sure to make a screen (or itch comment) that has the controls
- visual feedback to player input is really important (visual effects / screen overlay)
- leave the last day(s) of the jam to polish, this way you will have enough time to implement everything (the restart button!!)
Good job though!
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback
Really cool start to something. It definitely needed an explanation of each character's abilities. After a few tries I was able to do the tutorial. The endless mode sometimes spawns two traps that need the same character at the same time, and the forcefield door thing that the grey guy can pass through can blend into that area too easily. Four dimensions is definitely stretching my ability to pay attention to things, which was a fun challenge. Great concept!
Thank you for the feedback! Happy you enjoyed it. About the same trap, it was probably caused by the big guy(being slower) generating a trap later, in my mind this was supposed to be a feature to try to change between the characters to also have to take into consideration when you put which where.
Which character passes which trap? I really can't figure it out.
Otherwise, it looks really neat. Sorry you had a delete error. I had a similar issue in a past GoedWare jam and I had to upload to Newgrounds instead.
:) The big guy passes trough the turrets, the green girl jumps over the hole, the little guy shrinks trough the mess and the skinny guy teleports trough the laser door
Thank you. I'll give the game another try.
Nice work for your first-ever game! I had a really hard time understanding who could go through which traps. So I didn't get past the first section.

fun game!
Ty! :)
