Good Start can not re-lock the muse after making the game full screen
Loved the 3D environment, and it was very unsettling to find the bodies! Great work for what you accomplished in the time frame. For a full game, I think the bodies reveal would be super effective after some gameplay through the tunnels/world, similar to how the events in Amnesia: The Dark Descent become clearer as the protagonist continues and it's revealed that they were a monster all along.
It's unfortunate that you couldn't make a full game out of it, but it's a good start! The cave looks good and you managed to create an interesting atmosphere. Good luck for your future projects!
Good first jam try 😊!
GAMEPLAY
For your first game jam, this is certainly not a bad start. The atmosphere was well captured, with the cave setting and sound. The controls worked well for this small segment, though the mouse sensitivity was a bit high for me. Would be nice to see a future update if this game when that happens. You can always post that in our showcase channel on Discord.
VISUALS
As mentioned, the cave looked good, and the background sound added an eerie vibe. The bodies were a bit awkwardly stacked on top of each other😉.
Maybe choosing a more horror-themed font for the text could enhance the ambiance.
AUDIO
The background audio contributed well to the eerie atmosphere.
THEME
e could gather the theme from the text that we were the monster
For a first attempt at a game jam, this was a solid effort. Keep going and keep making games!💪
It seems that unfortunately you weren’t able to finish the game on time, right? It’s a shame because I was really interested in knowing how the story would unfold and what those bodies were doing there
Well, you created a good atmosphere, it felt sinister, and together with the music, it really evokes a sense of mystery and makes the mood quite intriguing
It would be great if a fullscreen mode without the game’s borders were possible, as it would give us better control over the player’s view since it sometimes lagged a bit here
I don’t know if you plan to continue with the project, but if you do, I wish you the best of luck in your development!
niceee... Can you play, rate and comment on my game too? plssssssss
